The best hidden gem on the North Coast. It's a hair off the beaten path right before the Flag Overlook on the #2. Our friends told us about the restaurant and after stopping for directions we easily found it. First off, the view is beyond amazing. We pulled up and the restaurant was pretty crowded but not to bad. We asked if there was a line but the waiter said they had a table and to come on in. Having just came from the Ritz Carlton in San Juan , we were a little food spoiled to say the least. Our group wanted to try local cuisine and ordered the Mofongo and appetizers that had a mix of friend meats and cheese. I can't remember the name but it was a sampler with tons of meats and stuff. Tasty and Awesome. I am bad with spicy food so I ordered the Chicken cutlets with spaghetti. I know, like to travel and try local food but I was starving and went with what I know. Let me tell you, i am from NYC and their Italian sauce was a perfect mix of authentic Italian Grandma style coupled with a rich deep sauce. I asked the waiter and he said the tomatoes are from the Island but the recipe is from the owners Grandfather who is from the old country. The cutlets were awesome and cooked perfect. I took the leftovers back to our airnbnb and got some local bread and made a hero for a late night snack. This was a lucky score and I never leave reviews as I could care less. We met one of the owners and he told us where to go on the west coast. Next stop, Rincon and he recommended we go to Tamboo because that's where the action is.. Loving Puerto Rico so far, check this spot out if you are passing, but don't forget to ask the locals...
Read moreWhat a pleasant surprise. We’ve stayed so many times less then 10 minutes ago (Hotel Guajataca) and never ventured into Quebradella to check out the restaurants in the area. Everyone that mentioned Gabriel in their reviews regarding his hospitality hit it on the mark. Just such a genuine personality and wanting the dining experience to be memorable.
Restaurant El Histórico Puente Blanco is a gem and even though we got there after sunset (couldn’t enjoy the view) the stop was worth while and the food delicious. As recommended I tried the garlic soup (not a drop left over) and the chillo encebollado (red snapper cooked w/ onions) with homemade pique, just delicious.
We are definitely going back during the day time and hoping to catch a glimpse of the migrating whales during the mouth of December. Thank you Gabriel.

If you’re looking for an extraordinary dining experience in Quebradillas, look no further than Restaurante El Histórico Puente Blanco. From the moment we walked in, we were greeted with a warm and inviting atmosphere that set the tone for an incredible evening.
We indulged in the surf and turf, and every element of the meal was exceptional. The salad was fresh and perfectly balanced, the rice was flavorful and cooked to perfection, and the lobster and steak were simply divine—tender, juicy, and bursting with flavor. To finish the meal, we savored their Flan de Queso, which was an absolute delight and the perfect sweet note to end the evening.
Special mention goes to our server, Gabriel, who was an absolute pleasure to meet. His professionalism, attentiveness, and friendly demeanor added so much to the experience.
Restaurante El Histórico Puente Blanco is a must-visit for anyone seeking outstanding food and impeccable service. I can’t recommend this...
