👎🏻 👎🏻 went for dinner 6/18/21..Friday We waited for an hour & 1/2 for our meals. Our waitress never acknowledged that the wait was long until we asked her & she replied in Spanish “one ticket at a time”.😳 When we finally get our meals it was very dissatisfying. My son ordered the conch which was very chewy & not fresh & when he told our waitress he was not eating it she said that is what he ordered & that it wasn’t her fault. I told her we were not going to pay for that & she got defensive with us & repeated that’s what he had ordered & would he like something else? It was now about 9:30pm & other tables were waiting for their meals so we were not about to wait for “something else.” My son ate a couple of the overcooked plaintains on his plate & was charged for the conch 🤬 which he didn’t want. My plate was Yuca Mofongo which was so dry, I have had yuca Mofongo before & never dried out like this! My red beans were watery not the usual Puerto Rican consistency & the white rice.. well, how can you mess that up?🤷🏻‍♀️ My husband had chicken that was overcooked & dry & at this point we are regretting we even stepped foot in this place! 😩 This place is up the road from The Wyndham Rio Mar Resort which should be prepared for customers coming to them from the Resort & as a Puerto Rican myself I would be embarrassed serving...

2nd time visiting this place and I am convinced the only good thing is the view! Service is extremely slow and the restaurant wasn't even at capacity. The decorations are old and the place looks more like a chinchorro than a sit down restaurant. The mojito de parcha was awful and tasteless with "fresh" parcha according to the waitress but in reality they buy the juice so it's not freshly squeezed there. The Tito Vodka and pink grapefruit juice was more juice than anything and the little bit of ice melted so fast that the drink became undrinkable. The windows were open and although it wasn't too hot, it was hot enough that we had to ask for them to turn on the ceiling fan over us. Ugh! We ordered the langosta al ajillo with a side of tostones de pana. This dish was a travesty! The small portion of lobster was chewy and served lukewarm (over $30). We also ordered a chillo frito with tostones de pana at the suggestion of the waitress since it is the house's specialty ($29.95). This was the only saving item that day. It was delicious and huge! Thank God because everything else was a fail. We spent over $80 and regretted this visit. Needless to say we won't be visiting again. The place needs an overhaul! Oh, and the waitresses were sitting at a table right by the entrance eating dinner while we were there...YEAH!...

I came with 4 friends to celebrate one of our friend's birthdays. We were excited to try the food and enjoy ourselves. Our waitress Amy was very curt and short with us. Jessica, the other server was kind and helpful. The food was okay, but not incredible. I ordered the grouper with mofongo, and the grouper was good but the mofongo was very mediocre. One of my friends had asked for well done steak, but the steak was clearly not well done. After asking for a refund, the waitress did end up not charging him for his meal, but not without a lecture. Additionally we had to specifically ask for silverware to eat the steaks, as we were all brought plastic forks and knives. Also, we had 4 checks, and they originally overcharged us on all of them but 1. And the wait for our checks was extremely long despite having hardly anyone else in the restaurant. And overall we were all very dissatisfied with our service and our food. And needless to say our birthday dinner was not enjoyable due to what transpired at...

Found this place online while searching for dinner spots close to our place. Turns out it was just 5 minutes away. Nice spot with a wonderful view and welcoming staff. Our waitress was friendly and explained highlights of the day's dinner choices. Looking over at the next table, we noticed a family thoroughly enjoying their meals which included a delightful looking mofongo with shrimp that was also calling my name. A closer look at the menu, and mofongo with mixed seafood was my choice and my taste buds were thrilled. Mom had the Yellow rice with octopus and darling Americanized daughter stuck with chicken nuggets- however, these were home made and looked divine. Thumbs up from the kid! So we left happy and full. Large portions resulted in multiple doggie bags which will definitely be enjoyed tomorrow. Also had a refreshing starfruit juice- very nice balance to my meal. Skip Richie's down the block and go here. Prices are reasonable, food is very good and you get the same view. Don't miss out.

We all enjoyed the traditional puerto rican food this restaurant offered. We rented a VRBO and the landlord recommended this location. I would recommend going during the day or at sunset but we arrived really late from out of town so we didn’t get to enjoy the beautiful views this restaurant offers. With that being said the food was all very delicious!! Next time we are in town we will definitely try it out again but we will definitely go during the day rather than at night when you can’t see anything. If you are looking for a traditional food experience this is a great place to try!! All the staff was extremely nice!! It was busy when we visited so they didn’t do amazing keeping up with our drinks being full but it also looked like they were understaffed as well so no worries. My favorite part was they were so sweet to offer my son a toy gift of his choice from under their Christmas tree (we were there during xmas)! Never had a restaurant do that!! Super cool!!
