Valley Sports Bar & Grill — Restaurant in Rapid City

I have been going to The Valley Sports bar for years and I have to say that everyone that works there has served me multiple times and they all do an awesome job as well as the cooks. As anyone in the service industry they all may have their off days because they aren't robots and have to deal with some very difficult people who can't control themselves when they drink to much. I'm making this review because I noticed a review that striked me in a way because I know that the bartenders and servers at the valley do not just yell at customers because they don't tip!! I'm going to add the screen shot of the review that Steve decided to leave six days ago because I have to make sure that everyone knows that he wasnt told to leave and wasnt yelled at because he didn't tip. I was a witness in the bar when this situation happened.... what happened is he decided to fall asleep at the bar and the bartender gave him a couple chances before he started mouthing off at her and when some younger gentlemen stood up for her he turned and decided to yell at them as well. At this point turtle the barteender decided that it was enough and thru him out. Very understandable. So Steve before you try to smear a bar and say terrible things to try and mess up their busniess..make sure that a regular that has been going for years isn't watching!!! There are many of us that will stick up for them! On a quiet Monday night in Rapid Valley at a joint known as the Valley Sports Bar and Grill, I entered this mystery stop off the beaten path, but incredibly convenient - perhaps the closest bar and sports pub to the Rapid City Regional Airport. Inside I was greeted first by warm lighting, sports pub regalia, tempered country western tunes, clean comfortable sprawling seating, and a long bar. This is a sizable establishment despite the wasted casino gaming section. I’d classify the facility as cared for and above the ranks of reputable dive bars. Cozy overall. To the bar. Heavy on the whiskies, flavored rums and vodkas, and schnapps shooters, I leaned to the beer taps and although macro brew dominant, I found one regional brew, Black Tooth Saddle Bronc Brown Ale and capitalized on the 5-6:30 happy hour deal of the week, a 20oz chilled mug for $3.50! The grub. Largely a fried affair but salads and sandwiches are options. I went simple, wings & tots. They do both right. Wings standard to above average in size, fried with no breading to perfection (skin crisp, meat moist), while the tots were fried to a crunchy golden brown. Went into valley sports bar and shut down kind of at the end they had three people on duty and they never came to our table my friend actually ended up going to the bar to order some beers He had to go to the bar one more time to place the order for food

After about 25 minutes then server came over and told us that our food would be coming out So the initial experience because I was hungry I was very hungry when we went there I was getting irritated cuz it took so long to get a server and get our order in So after the server came out we went out to smoke and when we came back our food was done it so that was less than 10 minutes so once the worst place it was goo I went into the restroom and use the restroom and then wash my hands and the water when you turn it on to hot it was not hot at all you had to let it run for 15 you know 5 minutes something like that so it would get even warm so that's not cool Anyway the food was very good after we got their attention we did get our food quickly but and the food was good we had cheeseburgers and you know fries and no big deal but it was good but that's the reason for the low review is the service there was three people working in there and none of them three people and the bartender The one of them had to notice us coming in so that was and they...
