Absolutely the worst service I’ve ever dealt with. I waited damn near two hours for to-go food, only to get home and realize they gave me someone else’s entire order. Drove back and tried to explain it, but the only person who spoke English—the white girl at the front—had to use Google Translate just to talk to the kitchen. Still didn’t get through.
They told me the only way to fix it was to run my card again and place a brand new order, promising they’d refund the first charge. (Spoiler: they didn’t.) I sat there like an idiot for another hour and a half, and when the second order came out, it was STILL wrong.
I’ve worked in food service for over 10 years, and let me tell you—this kind of experience is UNACCEPTABLE. At that point, any decent place would be comping meals and apologizing profusely. But no. They asked to run my card a third time, saying the other two charges would be refunded. (They weren’t.)
I was livid. Two wrong orders. Four hours wasted. A second trip back. And now you want to charge me AGAIN?! Absolutely not. I left the messed-up food on the counter and walked out.
Guess what? They still charged me a third time. For food I never took, that was wrong twice.
So unless you speak Spanish, have unlimited patience, and wanna pay $150+ for food you’ll never eat—RUN.
This place is a disaster. I never leave reviews, but I felt morally obligated to warn people about this hot flaming dumpster fire of a restaurant. DO NOT waste your time, energy, or...
Read moreLet me start this off by saying 12/10 is my rating for this wonderful restaurant. Heard about this place recently opening and finally got to try it today... upon entering you notice the beautiful wood walls and the cleanliness of the entire restaurant. Absolutely immaculate. We were quickly seated and immediately served chips and salsa. The chips were fresh and the salsa was amazing with just the right amount of spice and perfect flavor. We ordered an appetizer of the "Nachos Vallarta" which was loaded with meats and cheese and was a meal within itself. Large portion (4 of us shared it with some still leftover) then for an entree I got the "Fajita de la casa" which was also loaded and beyond delicious and sizzlin' hot (I took 2/3 of it home because I was full) with beans and rice and lettuce w/sour cream. The rest of my table got the "burrito fajita" which they said was also to die for. The wait staff and kitchen staff were very attentive and most assuredly know what they're doing. I would recommend this place to anyone and everyone and will be back asap. The service was fast and I have literally nothing even close to negative to say. Family friendly and wonderful atmosphere and food. Thanks Casa Nueva...
Read moreWe went when they first opened. Food was very bland. Decided to try again and have been back a few more times. Salsa definitely has had more bite to it and the other items we've tried have not been as bland. A few things have happened though that just don't sit right with me. 1st round of chips and salsa is complimentary, more rounds and there is a charge. I'm ok with that normally but one time we sat at a table with another couple, each couple paying for their own meals and the waiter expected us to share the one round of chips/salsa with the other couple. Had we been at separate tables each couple would have gotten their one round without charge. They did end up seeing it our way eventually. Tonight when I went, I got a dish that was to include a spoon full of Pico de Gallo on the side. I asked if I could substitute it for a spoon full of salsa. I was told they would have to charge me for a bowl of salsa. I can't believe it costs the restaurant more for a spoon full of salsa than it does Pico de Gallo. It's the little things that can just "put a bad taste in...
