Thee Ice Cream Parlor — Restaurant in Raritan Township

Well the messed up my order. Gave me a twist instead of just chocolate. And the customer service is bad, you have to pay 10 cents for an extra spoon and 25 cents for a new cup. This is the only place that I have ever seen you have to pay for spoons. I will tell family and friends to not come here. Also why is the inside not open? I complete waste of space. What a rip off. Sizes were also small. Very disappointed and would not run my business that way

Edit: Rude response, I have talked to people I know(friends, coworkers) that own businesses and they say that charging for spoons and cups is a joke. It’s a way of making money. And everyone makes mistakes but other people that went here also have their orders messed up, a group of friends that came here before had multiple peoples orders messed up. I will go to humdoo, Rita’s or cold...

Best soft serve around and fantastic ice cream cakes

Edited to add that the review comparing the vanilla soft serve here to that of McDonald’s is outrageous in my opinion. McDonald’s ice cream is chewy and tastes like plastic. My husband who doesn’t turn down any dessert offered wouldn’t even finish a free cone I bought home from McDonald’s once but he will get thee ice cream soft serve all the time. The soft serve at thee ice cream is cold, smooth, creamy and tastes like vanilla. Also, My dad is the #1 fan of vanilla soft serve and he even says this is the best in the area. He’s tried them all. We get a soft serve ice cream cake from TICP for everyone’s bday in our family and guests rave about it.

Ice cream was ok, but sictomer service was terrible. One girl was in the back eating pretzels, rather than helping customers. One girl was talking to her boyfriend sitting at the counter, rather than helping customers. That left, one person helping customers are the window outside, and one girl helping customers inside.

The girl who took my order ate gummy bears with her bare hands while making my Sunday. Also, some whipped cream fell off of my sunday onto the counter, and the same girl proceeded to use the spoon for my sunday to scoop it off of the counter, AND PUT IT BACK ON MY SUNDAY! It was disgusting...

I won't be going back here. The customer service, attention to cleanliness, and lack of sanitary serving practices are the worst I've seen in...
