Replying to @agermwmvv67 🐎 On my noble quest across New England in search of the finest roast beef sandwich, I stumbled upon a legendary stronghold: Nick’s Place in Raymond, NH. What awaited me was no mere meal, but a portal to another realm. Before me rose mountains of tender roast beef, cascading down into rivers of rich James River BBQ sauce. The onion roll—perfectly buttered and toasted—served as a golden foundation worthy of such magnificence. Every bite struck with balance and glory: the beef abundant, the sauce applied with a master’s precision, neither lacking nor in excess. This was no sandwich, but a feast worthy of kings. The most glorious roast beef I have yet encountered, and one I shall dream of long after the quest moves on. Nick’s Place, thy banner is raised high in the halls of roast beef legend. đŸ°đŸ„©đŸ‘‘ Beef Score: 9.3 — Glory between a roll. #fypă‚· #willy3way #beefscore #newengland #roastbeef

Tonight was my first time here. Having been in the area for business earlier in the evening, I had grown hungry, and was still far from home. I chose Nick's because the other customers' reviews were positive, and I wanted to see for myself. AMOSPHERE: Neat, clean, very new-looking dining area with navy blue, comfy booths, sturdy end chairs of high quality molded steel and cushioned seats. Wood-grain style nonporous table surfaces (great for sanitizing!) Beautiful, maple-hued wooden plank ceiling. Ceiling fans with fluted globe lights are turning at a moderate speed; not too fast, not too slow, just the right amount of air flow. Additional track lighting brings this area up several notches above other restaurants, yet masterfully avoids being too bright. FOOD: ABSOLUTELY THE MOST PERFECT GYRO EVER!!! The pita bread was warm, slightly moist, and soft. Easy to hold. Easy to mold around the ingredients. The onion, tomato, and homemade tzaziki sauce were absolutely delicious, and very fresh. The meat was surprisingly substantial, moist, not dry, yet not dripping. This Greek sandwich could be contained in my hands while I ate it without it falling apart. SAUTEED SPINACH: Perfectly done with minced garlic and oil perfectly folded in. Lemon wedge provided for the perfect tangy spritz of acidic accompaniment. ONION RINGS: Expertly coated, fried to a golden-brown, and amazingly - the coating remained adhered to the onion slices from the top of the pile to the very bottom! ALL FOOD was served in sanitary individual containers, piping hot, fresh, and attractively arranged. MUSIC: As a child of the 70's, I enjoyed every minute of Great Hits from the 80's & 90's (like Journey!!!) The TV was set to an innocuous Wheel of Fortune show at the far end of the dining area, with volume muted. IT WAS WONDERFUL EXPERIENCE, ESPECIALLY just walking in off the street on some random weekday night only one hour before closing...I am completely impressed and will return with friends and family to support this business. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!!

I’m so disappointed to write this...after 3 times, twice ordering delivery- we won’t ever order from here again. I thought for sure this place would give GMS a run for its money. It may - but only because it’s summer & the camping areas are busy. But I’ll go back to ordering from GMS any day.

So far we’ve had the roast beef (I thought it was ok -(growing up in Boston, I’ve had some amazing roast beef - this wasn’t it), salad with shrimp, and tonight gluten free pizza and chicken finger dinner. This, by far, was the worst order yet.

First, let me thank them for telling me the eggplant was breaded- no one does that anymore so I appreciated the courtesy in telling me. I asked for eggplant & mozzarella. What I got was tough eggplant with burned breading, burned crust, roasted red peppers, & onions. Here’s the thing - I understand maybe someone putting the order in wrong but looking at the order receipt - it clearly states “Mozzarella Eggplant” - no mention of onions or red peppers. Hubby got the “BBQ chicken fingers” - now this man is not hard to please - he’s a Marine who’s eaten some pretty awful things. He stopped eating it after 2 and said “ I’m not really sure what happened but I feel like I’m eating Chinese food” - I took a bite. I have no clue what their idea of honey bbq is - what he got was basically sweet & sour chicken. Think - the sauce you get when you order chicken at a Chinese restaurant. His fries were totally cold - huge batch gone to waste. Yes I understand food doesn’t stay hot when you do delivery but cold isn’t acceptable. So - we’ve now tossed $32 worth of food away. Oh...the salad? You can make it for half the cost. Get some frozen shrimp and a bunch of lettuce and there you go ...except you get to pay $13 for theirs. I’m super disappointed because I know so many people like their place in MA. Something is just off with the food here.

The people are super nice & polite. The 2 stars is for that. Guys - you have an awesome opportunity to thrive in NH but not with what we’ve had the last 3 times. We won’t be back...

THIS PLACE IS A DISGRACE, DISRESPECT AND RUDE!!!! I MOVED TO THIS AREA ABOUT 3 MONTHS AGO AND I STARTED ORDERING FROM THIS PLACE.I LITERALLY ORDER 2 TO 3X A WEEK. I SPEND WELL OVER 50 BUCKS EVERY TIME. A WEEK AGO I ORDER A CRISPY BACON SANDWICH AND I FOUND A HAIR. I DIDN'T SAY ANYTHING, DIDNT CALL ANYONE, I JUST THREW IT AWAY AND WENT ABOUT MY DAY.. THINGS HAPPEN. PPL DESERVE A CHANCE. TODAY I PLACED AN ONLINE ORDER AND THE FORGOT THE MOST EXPENSIVE MEAL IN MY ORDER. NO PROBLEM MISTAKES HAPPEN. I CALL THEM TO LET THEM KNOW AT FIRST THEY WERE HESITANT BUT THEY FOUND THEIR MISTAKE AND SENT THE REST OF MY ORDER. WHILE IM WAITING FOR MY MEAL WE STARTED TO SNACK ON THE COCONUT SHRIMPS. THERE WAS A HAIR ATTACHED TO THE BREADING OF THE SHRIMP ( I HAVE THE PICTURES) I CALLED TO SPEAK TO THE MANAGER FOR A REFUND AND THE WAS THE WORST THING I COULD DO. SHE INSISTED ON TELLING ME THE HAIR WASNT FROM THEM. I TOLD HER I HAVE PICTURES OF THE FOOD WITH HAIR. I TOLD HER ALL I WANTED WAS A REFUND. SHE KEPT YELLING AND TELLING ME THAT THE REST OF MY FOOD WAS ON THE WAY. I HAD TOLD HER I DONT WANT IT. SHE CAN CALL HER DRIVER AND HAVE THEM RETURN THE FOOD. SHE TOLD ME NO THAT HE WAS ALREADY ON THE WAY AND HUNG UP THE PHONE. I CALLED BACK AND ASKED FOR A REFUND. SHE KEPT ON BEING AGGRESSIVE AND CALLING ME MY LADY AND STATING THAT I WAS RUDE. I TOLD HER SHES BEING RUDE AND TO STOP CALLING ME MY LADY. SHE DECIDED TO TELL ME IF I HAD A PROBLEM WITH HER THAT I CAN GO TO NICKS PLACE THAT SHE WILL BE THERE. I ASKED HER ARE YOU TELLING ME TO GO FIGHT YOU, ALL I WANT IS A REFUND. SHE HUNG UP ONCE AGAIN. AFTER THE 5TH TIME I CALL BACK I TELL HER IM A MANAGER AT A RESTAURANT(WHICH I AM) AND I WOULD NEVER SPEAK TO A CUSTOMER HOW SHES SPEAKING TO ME AND SO ON. AFTER A FEW MINS OF ME TELLING HER I WAS GOING TO CONTACT THE OWNER SHE DECIDED TO TELL ME IF I WANTED THE REFUND I HAD TO GO AND RETURN THE FOOD.... NOT A PROBLEM I REPLIED.. IM ASSUMING SHE DIDN'T THINK I WAS GOING TO SHOW...
