Took a short ride over to Raymond today for the grand opening of Northern Scout Kitchen. Great menu that touches some on some harder to find foods in this area of the state (currently chowing down on some seriously great Pork Belly Bao Buns and crispy Brussels sprouts). The menu also features Mole pork tacos, a noodle bowl with roasted shishito peppers, local green baby kale salad, three serious burger choices and two grilled cheeses and oh so crispy Belgian style fries. Everything served with our beautiful state in mind on eco friendly sustainable containers. Jess and Pat are just wonderful and I can think of no better way to put my money back into my community than to support passionate artists and businesses like this. The bun held up well to the immense flavors coming from the slaw base, no ketchup or mustard required. That also goes for the salt and vinegar fries.
