Had lunch at a new BBQ in Raymore, Ate 1 Six BBQ. A small walk up and order restaurant with a few table to sit at. It’s located at the end of a gas station building. Very clean and there was no wait in line for lunch at 12:30. We ordered the special , the Cowboy combo for $12, instead of the normal $18. You can choose two meats for the sandwich and we both got double brisket. Well two slices of brisket was almost all fat and had no smoke flavor. Like it was cooked in an oven instead of smoked. Sandwich was very small with little meat. Small portion of fries. The BBQ sauce wasn’t bad but far from good. My wife liked it because it was sweet but even she said it wasn’t great and she is hard to displease. Our grand daughter’s hot dog had more meat🙄. Don’t mind spending a little more if the food is good and you leave full, but this BBQ fell short on both accounts. Would have been upset had I spent the regular $18 for...
Read moreWe came in a few days after they opened. It is not much to look at metal tables and chairs not comfortable chairs at all. Zero soda fountain just cans that right there is not good zero refills do we each bought 2 cans. For 3 people woth only one side 6 cans of soda and our meal over $70. The Mac and cheese was dried out. Looked several days old. Bland so gross we couldn't even eat it. The brisket was grey in color zero flavor to it or spice. No smoke ring. You smell zero smoke smell entering so another bad sign it's cooked earlier and reheated. My meat honestly tasted boiled in a pot. It was chewy and not good. My Son had sausage which he said was full of gristle and not fully cooked. We won't be back this is some of the worst BBQ I've had in Kansas City. Not impressed and we really weer excited about this place. With all these good reviews I'm kinda shocked because it really...
Read moreWe ate at the restaurant the other day. It’s not really a restaurant unfortunately. We had high hopes as we love BBQ. It’s a food truck inside a gas station. They still serve their food in a cardboard tray with plastic forks and you have to buy each can of soda $2 or bottle of tea for $4. I purchased the loaded fries with the brisket for $14.00. There were more fries and cheese than anything else. The brisket was good though. Also being a restaurant, you should close your doors so flies aren’t flying around people’s food. I understand they just opened up but if this is a “Restaurant” please improve things. Plates, forks, cups & closed doors would be a great start. I’ll be back within 6 months to give...
