After a long hot day, my family went for ice cream. Most all ordered ceece's except me. One was all vanilla ice cream other 3 chocolate on chocolate. After eating and 1 continued to say it tasted funny my husband tried some of the chocolate. It tasted sour. So without wanting anything in return, my d-i-l took them to window and explained this. The owner was there but kept his back turned to her. If he would have just turned around and said he was sorry, would have been ok. You know these cost almost 5 dollars a piece . Just acknowledge and say I'm sorry..we didn't want anything in return...
   Read moreSo not sure if my husband and I went at a bad time or not, we were not impressed at all. Our food was luke warm, cold by the end of eating it. My husband had ham that tasted like it came out of a can, it was okay. I had a chicken bowl, the gravy tasted like it was from a jar, and the potatoes were too thick....and not to mention that the worst uniced tea I ever had, it was so dark and thick tasting.    Read moreFirst off, Hanna was wonderful...personable, cute, great waitress! Hot roast beef was fair...lots of grissel. I love cole slaw, but this was TERRIBLE! Had what said to be the last of the cherry pie. Took it to my hotel room and after looking at the first bite before trying it, I couldn't tell what kind of pie it was! And after trying it, it didn't taste at ALL like cherry pie! I spit out that bite and pitched the pie entirely. Needless to say, we will not be returning to The Home Made any time ever!
