We heard all about this place and this was our 1st time there. Husband got a grilled chicken sandwich and fries. I got the special .. a club sandwich and fries. Husband said his food was ok. My club had plenty of bacon. The turkey was good but I threw the cheap ham off. The tomatoes were past their prime. But the worst thing was my middle slice of toast was completely burnt. Like they put it in the middle to hide it. Can't hide the burnt taste. Ugh. The waitress was apologetic and asked if I wanted a new sandwich but I wasn't waiting. Nothing was taken off my bill. Only thing I would recommend is the homemade sweet tea. We won't be back.

Food tasted great, but the pizza was definitely a bit pricey for what we got, considering one of the pizzas looked like it was thrown around the back kitchen a few times. Gave a tip for the food, but kinda wish i didn't after seeing the finished pizza.

Spent $48 dollars here today and really wish I hadn't. My son, who will eat anything, couldn't stomach the fries that were likely cooked in grease that had been there since the Nixon administration. My fries were cooked in the same grease, or maybe something older, not sure. They were gross! I ordered a plain cheeseburger, nothing but a bun, meat and cheese. They brought me a burger smothered in mayonnaise. I'm allergic to it, hence the reason I asked for it plain. I told the waitress that it wasn't what I ordered. She took it back and made no effort to bring a new one out not slathered in mayo. The kicker is she didn't take it off my bill! So, I paid for a cheeseburger, at $17, that I never got. Also bought my other son a roast beef dinner. He didn't make it to the end of his meal before having to run to the bathroom with diarrhea. DO NOT...

New management has added daily alcohol sales and an all you can eat pizza and wing buffet on Fridays. This seems to be filling up a booths a bit better since my review last year. HIGH PRICED MEDIOCRE DINER FOOD- Honestly this place only gets business because it's conveniently near the lake or because it's a close place to eat after church service. We have tried it twice over a few months to be fair but there's no improvement. Best part of our meals were the dinner rolls and the pies. We only got dessert because our main meals were terrible. Our server was nice, but don't know how long good servers stay when tips aren't great only due to the new management/...
