New life in to a old business this place has changed owners and names for those familiar with this place it was Bubba's it is now the speed trap thank havens for new owners and new food bubba's was rotten and run down they have made the place lighter and cleaner the beer is cold and clean tasting and does not have a watered down dirty taste plus they have more of a selection to include local brews the burgers are hand pressed and not formed till you order. The jail house and speed trap and killer burgers and probably my favorites. The blue cheese burger is excellent as well they even went out of there way to make sure I did not have sesame seeds on my bun. the salads for those who want to eat healthy they are using Romain lettuce instead of iceberg which to me makes a mega difference. The head cook and manger is a outstanding person who makes you feel as though you are a family member, the rest of the staff is super nice as well. My wife and I try to eat here at least once a week. We had high hopes but it's obvious the cook here has never had a hamburger in a restaurant. What I was served for $14 was a dry toasted bun (no condiments at all) and a burger that consisted of two small patties that were mashed into one with some chopped jalapenos in the middle and cheese on it. That's it! No lettuce, no onions, no pickles, no tomatoes. Nothing a good burger should have! We had the mac-n-cheese bites for an appetizer which were tasty but at $10 costs more than a good burger at other places. The previous owner here did it right. Sure miss Bubba's. This business has recently had a face lift. It has changed owners as well as the name. The old place was dark and served warm beer. Now the food is amazing and atmosphere is very nice too. I really like the food. Especially the hand crafted hamburger Patties. I also like that the each food item that someone orders is made to order. The salads are amazing they are made with fresh ingredients and are very large. They also have a large selection of drinks that are available on bottle and draft.
