Tosco's Italian Delight — Restaurant in Red Hill

Update: After many more attempts, I will not return for pizza ever again. I've thrown out at least 5 pies by now, pizza that was so overrun with toppings it was soggy, others that were burnt while others just had absolutely no taste. When my husband whom eats just about everything won't eat it, it's bad. Last try was cheesesteak, he ate half and threw that out too. We're not overly picky people I promise. I even wrote the owner, no response. It's really a shame because it's incredible service, always friendly and prompt.

I've eaten here several times and held it in very high regard as the best pizza in the area, homemade burgers (who does that anymore) my last two times I've had pizza it wasn't great, I'm not sure what they changed but it was definitely different. I've had more good experiences here then bad so I will continue to go back for now. The service is quick, even on a packed Fri night, their prices are reasonable and everything I've had up until the last two times has been excellent, maybe just off nights? I'll continue to update but they do put their heart into their business this is very apparent by the way your treated when you walk...

Moved to Green Lane about 7 months ago. Didn't see much of the town before I moved in, but once I did move in, the last thing I expected to find in this town was a good Italian spot. This place is great. Grew up in an Italian family and in Philadelphia, so I'd like to say I know a bit about good food. They have sandwiches that'd compete with the best. After traveling all over the country for music related things, I'd easily say that this place is one of the best Italian places to grab a quick bite whether it's lunch or dinner. All of the guys that I work with love it as well. Portions are massive, food quality is good, and the staff are always great to deal with. If they mess up your order, shut up and eat it anyway... it'll be good food. Don't understand how this place has any negative reviews. This used to be the place to go for really great steak sandwiches. Not so much anymore. Ordered 4 sandwiches last night. Chicken Cheese steak, sauce and pickles on the side. Correct. Chicken steak, NO CHEESE, mayo lettuce on top. WRONG, we got chicken CHEESE steak, lettuce on the bottom. Chicken steak, NO CHEESE, blue cheese dressing. WRONG, chicken CHEESE steak, NO blue cheese dressing. Cheese steak, mayo, lettuce, bacon. WRONG, cheese steak, NO mayo. This is not the first time this has happened. We normally call and they will make a new sandwich and even deliver it to the house. That's not the point! The girl on the phone even read it back to me the way I ordered it. Somebody isn't doing there job correctly. They are not making what was ordered. When you spend the money and order what YOU like, you should be able to go home and enjoy your sandwich.
