The Tipsy Turtle Bar & Grill — Restaurant in Red Wing

We were staying at the TI Casino and after HORRIBLE experiences at their restaurants (bad service, awful food, and long wait times) we were all so hungry we gave up there and left to find something fast. Our family of four stopped at the Tipsy Turtle on a whim because it was close to the resort. SO GLAD WE DID!!! Great burgers!!! Cold drinks that were very reasonably priced, and to top it off, the bar tender (didn’t catch her name but she is blonde) couldn’t have been sweeter!!! She was awesome with our kids, super attentive and just genuinely kind. It was kismit! Just goes to show that big resorts can’t hold a candle to small local joints. I can’t wait to go back! I’m sad I don’t live closer. We were staying at TI for my friends Bachelorette party and stopped at Tipsy Turtle for a drink before our dinner reservation. Cris was so awesome and had music going for us right away, great drinks and shots were had! We decided to go back after dinner and were there for hours! The owners Al and Missy were great to us and we knew all the patrons names by the time we left, lol! Needless to say we had to go back the next morning for bloodies before heading home. We stopped here on a Sunday afternoon recently and did not have a good experience. One bartender working solo with no social skills. We seated ourselves at a table, bartender then stopped over and asked for our order and we didn’t even have a menu in hand yet. Once we were ready to order, bartender came back and took our orders without saying one word to us. I ordered the double hamburger, no bun and I think a 1/4 cup of seasoning was piled on top of one of the burgers. Terrible service and terrible food. Would not recommend and will...
