Seafood Social East — Restaurant in Redan

I will start by saying the wings were delicious. However the service and atmosphere were terrible. I noticed this location several months ago and waited for it to open. Once it opened we stopped by for dinner tonight.

First the menu in the restaurant is not the same menu as the online menu. The menu is very limited. Second their were several people working but not working. We ordered a lemonade and a soda. The lemonade arrived 10 minutes after it was ordered and the soda 25minutes. Third the food arrived completely out of order. One of the entrees arrived in 15 minutes. The soup came 15 minutes after that.The second entree came 10 minutes after the first. The fries arrived after we had completed the meal. We weren't charged for the soup or fries. Fourth the music was so loud you couldn't hear a conversation with anyone and the music was explicit. Fifth this is a restaurant that is more like a bar/ nightclub. The atmosphere is definitely not for anyone looking for a quiet meal and the price of the entrees are not warranted. I am hopeful they read this and make some...

Worst experience iv experienced in a long time first off that should have been a red flag is 50% of the food on menu is Not available I ordered the seafood boil which was nothing but some baby crab legs with Roman noodle seasoning sprinkle on it A couple potatoes two corns everything else was missing I ask were was the sausage and rice and other Ingredient and was told they was out which wasn't told to me when I purchased I also order egg rolls which I never received And my wife order the chicken pasta which we waited nearly 2 hours to receive when I inquire about what's the hold up? I was told they was out of Parmesan cheese. They had to go to the store and get some. This is totally unacceptable. Not to mention that I spent almost $150 and had to go home and still cook a meal because it was so terrible. We just decided to leave. One more thing it wasn't even five people in the establishment and we were still waiting over two hours to be served our orders which came out incorrect and...

Attended an event recently. The drinks were very good. Poured generously and well worth the money. However, the food in my opinion was not up to par. The catfish nuggets were just ok. Although moist and somewhat tender on the inside, the batter was hard, too crunchy ,salty and overcooked. Almost burnt.

The calamari was definitely overcooked and had the same batter profile as the catfish. Too crunchy and overcooked. The oil possibly should have been changed.

We’ve had good calamari and unfortunately, this was about a 5 1/2 out 10. The same for me with the nuggets.

The food choice that night was just ok. If I return, Ill try something different and will not reorder the catfish or calamari.

I could have complained, but chose instead to mark it up as a reminder of what not to order if I returned.
