Mammoth Orange Cafe — Restaurant in Redfield

Love their burgers!! And they have the “good ice”😊 love that I can buy a gal size bag of it!! The older people that work there are great!! Couple of the young girls,, not so much.. Stopped in on my way home Saturday,, went in ,, only a couple people was dining in,, a teenage boy was taking a call in order,, 2 more people came in behind me.. 3 teenage girls standing around the grill,, 1, making food the other 2,, just talking,, looked and seen there was a line,, and the boy was still doing the call in,, never once came to try and help him.. he finished the call in and apologized,, said he was fairly new,, started taking my order, phone rang again,, he let it ring a few times, probably hoping one of the girls would answer it,, they didn’t,, he did,, took another call in order,, apologized again.. I think I heard one of the girls from the back call him Carter,, He did exceptionally well considering the lack of help from 2 of the girls that could have came and helped.. kudos to him,,but the 2 that stood around gossiping and trying to see if he would crack,, they need a little more training on customer...

On 02/29/20 after reading the reviews of this place , I decided to give them a visit . I made it there at approximately 4:50 and a couple were eating and another couple were waiting on their order . I placed my order and sat at a table . It took a extremely long time for the couple to get their food while I waited on mine , so I figured the food had to be good . While I waited , 3 ladies came in and ordered , as well as 2 guys . 1 of the ladies asked the server about their food and it was brought out . Me seeing this , I knew it was time to get MY money back . I told the server I needed to see the manager for a refund because of this treatment and the other customers agreed . The server told me my order was coming up and pretended like nothing was wrong . It so happens that the order that came up , belonged to the 2 guys ! I had sat there for a hour and EVERYBODY was served before me ! My order HADN’T been started yet . I got a refund and will never go back . It so happens that all the other customers were White . Call it the way...

Best place to eat by far in this sweet little town of Redfield. Me and my husband were on a little camping trip for our First Anniversary. The atmosphere of this place is nostalgic, we’re a young couple in our early 20s but we’re old souls. We both got a regular double cheeseburger one without vegetables and one with vegetables and a basket of good ole Cajun fries! The ladies were very nice coming in, asked about us, and told us a little bit of information on the big two towers down by the River. Overall best place we’ve been too in a while, kind people, great service, and the food is the great! Hope to bring our son when...
