All Aboard Burgers And Ice Cream — Restaurant in Redings Mill

Went to this place to burn sometime before going to college age church meetup. Got a little engineer's pack (4.99) with grilled chz so I can save money. Overall, good pick me up place for the area. Not as much food as Reddings mill down the road, but much better due to lack of smoke and beer smell. Good prices, although they tend to fluctuate so don't trust the photos- everyone's gotta do what they gotta do nowadays. Cones are 50 cents- original flavors too. Might suggest this place as a meetup spot before the group from now on.

Only reason it's not 5 stars is because it doesn't have very many vegetarian options or chicken options (mostly pork and beef) which is fine by me personally. Great food at reasonable prices. The burgers are always cooked fresh (you can watch the guy cook them) and are always juicy. Expect a bit of a wait if there are very many customers, since they usually only have 2 people working and everything is cooked fresh. The burgers are about the size of a McD's single cheeseburger so keep that in mind when deciding how much to get. Also has the best ice cream around with the flavor and texture of homemade. The train car dining room gives a neat, homey feel when you eat in. There are toys and crayons for the kiddos while you wait for them to bring your food out, which eases the sometimes long wait. I read about "the best burgers in town", poor town. The most pitiful excuse for a burger that I have ever eaten (in about 4 bites). The buns, (or was that a biscuit?), was fresh. What would you like on that burger? Very little to choose from, I asked for onions, and found 4-5 tiny pieces of onion. Now if you want to take the grandkids for a cheap "burger", some expensive homemade ice cream, and a kid friendly atmosphere, this could work, but don't mislead adults into thinking this place is worth a stop. It was a shame to stop here while passing through only to have to stop again to eat dinner after having a burger...
