Pros: This place is really charming! The customer service is wonderful! the group of girls who helped us were so kind and patient. The inside of the place (it is a gas station/convenience shop), and has a really cute old school dining area which is great if you are trying to take some pictures or just enjoy some character.

Cons: The ice cream is slightly gritty. With that being said, it is literally the only local ice cream available in the area. Also, the place is called Jackson FARMS Dairy, so you would think it is on a farm where you could see some cows or feed goats. That is not the case. No, you don’t understand. This ice cream is better than most people. It is my favorite American ice cream place, and it’s not even close. I moved to this town (hamlet? village?) in the near vicinity, and this gas station has this ice cream shop and is attached to the dairy farm so I thought why not. Jackson Farms has the best milk, chocolate milk and ice cream anywhere. It just seems creamier and has a better taste than other brands ~ plus they're local and if we can support local farms and businesses, it benefits everyone. The store is always clean; the workers friendly; they offer a deli counter with fresh sliced meats and cheeses, gas, lottery, cigarettes, bread, drinks of all kinds, grocery items and even have a little cafe-type of eatery inside. I suggest stopping in for an ice cream cone and leaving with a gallon or 2 of chocolate milk plus whatever...
