I went to the main page for contact information but there wasnât an email option so I really hope this doesnât fall on deaf ears. We had reservations last evening at 6 for a party of 4, we have been there for outdoor dining and entertainment on quite a few occasions after last nights experience we are not sure we will be returning. Our server was ok at first, Iâll get to her in a bit, we ordered a pitcher of Strawberry Sangria, it was awful I would have just called it an orange and pineapple juice mix, my husband brought this to the attention of the bartender just to clarify that it was Strawberry and the bartender said she made it so it was correct, there was no flavor of Strawberry anything, absolutely horrible, then when we placed our food order I asked if there was bacon in the clam chowder, she said she didnât think so but would check and continued to stand there as opposed to going to check, so I asked her to please go check before I order, ok so no bacon in the chowder perfect, I ordered a cup of chowder and had to repeat myself 3 times and then for a 4th time after everyone else placed their orders, we had to get her attention to place a new drink order for myself and 2 of the other guests had empty drinks, so when she finally came back with the 2nd round of drinks, she spilled some of the beer onto my phone and table, all I got was âoh sorryâ, she continued to put the drinks down and asked does anyone need anything else? I was so infuriated that I took my napkin off my lap and said no I got it, and cleaned the beer spill with my used napkin, at no point did she attempt or even offer to wipe up the spill didnât even get extra napkins for the spill, not to mention she was chewing gum and Iâm sorry but I think that is extremely rude to be chewing gum while standing over people taking their orders. Also, the string lights that were hanging above us were not on so once the sun went down we were sitting in the dark. I just wanted to bring our horrible experience to someoneâs attention, do what you want with it but like I said I hope this doesnât fall on deaf ears. Thankfully my phone wasnât damaged from the beer spill either because I would have done all of the complaining right then and there. Do what you want with this information but hopefully this isnât a new normal at your...
Read moreHillside CC Golf Course is a challenging 9-hole course set in rural Rehoboth, Massachusetts.
The greens are especially challenging. There is a reason why it's called "Hillside". The fairways are great and there is enough variety for play in the layout of the course making it competitive and fun.
Although most of the water hazards are relatively small, there are several of them and they are strategically placed throughout the course. Some of them sneak up on you if you're not familiar with the course.
There are some narrow Fairways off the Tees which makes it easy to hook a shot into the Woods, one way or the other. And if you like beaches, there are some challenging sandboxes you can easily end up in. Overall, this is a challenging and fun course to play!
After you finish playing your rounds you can visit the Seasonal Outdoor "Tiki Bar" which has a great menu, great drinks, good service, and live musical entertainment on the weekends.
The "Tiki Bar" is Open To The Public and you Do Not have to golf to go have a bite to eat and a drink. It truly is a great experience! You'll surely want to come back again!
During the off-season when the Tiki Bar is closed, you can dine in the Indoor Restaurant, "La Collina", which is also Open To The Public. (Weddings and other events can be booked by calling the restaurant directly in advance.)
Hillside Country Club is a Public Golf Course that also offers Private Membership Options. They have In-Ground Swimming Pool passes that you can purchase, Day Spa packages, and several other amenities that you can indulge in!
If you have any questions you can call the Country Club directly. The friendly staff would be more than happy to answer all of your questions.
Please check out the photos in this review for the menus to both the "La Collina" Restaurant and the "Tiki Bar", as well as other important contact information for the club and course.
Hillside CC really is a great place! Whether you're playing golf, want to have a bite to eat and a few drinks, or both! Check out Hillside CC. I'm sure...
Read moreOur wedding at this venue had beautiful moments, and I appreciate the coordinator, Sarah, for her kindness and support. She was genuinely helpful, especially when the weather required last-minute changes. However, several issues on the wedding day were deeply disappointing, which is why I am giving this venue 1 starânone of these issues should have occurred at this price point, let alone all of them.
The coat room we were shown during the walkthrough was locked and used for storage, forcing guests to leave their coats at their tables or in the small bridal suite, disrupting our privacy. This also created clutter that looked bad during the wedding and appeared in our photos and video. Some drinks were served in disposable plastic cups, which felt out of place for a venue of this caliber. Bar service was slow at times, as only one bartender was often available, and staff were difficult to find when assistance was needed. Additionally, the bathrooms were outdated and did not reflect the standard expected for a venue of this cost.
While I appreciated the teamâs effort in moving the ceremony to the balcony due to rain, the space was never restored afterward for guests to enjoy. We had also arranged for a small room where children could rest, but due to last-minute changes, there was no suitable space, leaving parents to gather in the entrance hall.
The venue initially acknowledged these shortcomings, but when I inquired about any further consideration, I never received a response. While our day was still special, the lack of follow-through was disappointingâespecially given the cost, which is comparable to high-end venues like Lakeview Pavilion. I would not recommend having your...
