Plaza Pizza — Restaurant in Rehoboth

As a lifelong patron of Plaza Pizza, it pains me to have to post this here, but I see no viable alternative.

My family placed a large take out order, as we do weekly. Upon arriving to pick it up, my poor father, waited his turn and then watched as Jeremy (THE OWNER) waited on, not one, not two, but FOUR women that came in after him, as if he was invisible. My father could clearly see that our order was ready, so it was obvious that the owner had an extremely unprofessional preference for female customers.

Upon opening our order when he returned, we found a turkey sub had literally 1.5 slices of turkey. It was a very pitiful looking sandwich. Then, to top it off, the veal cutlets were over cooked.

We called the restaurant so we could talk it all over with the owner, and he absolutely did not care. He was beyond rude on the phone to my mother, and had no remorse about it either.

After 30+ years of patronage, we will not be going back.

The pizza crust was delicious. Price for 1/2 pepperoni & mushroom. 1/2 vegetable was right in line with other local pizza parlors. But the crust was just right easy to chew right to the end of the crust. Very yummy. The vegetable portion everyone enjoyed which surprised me. If your wondering the combination? It was tomatoes, black olives, onion, broccoli and cheese. Worth the ride. I didn't eat there so can't comment on...

The pizza is very tasty. While I prefer a thicker crust, the crust does have a nice flavor and texture, the sauce is very good, with a little bit of a kick to it, and the toppings are good quality.
