I have been struggling to find a bakery that I love in the attleboro and surrounding areas. Most cakes are either too dry, too sweet, or too expensive. In an effort to love my birthday cake this year, I ordered a cake from Traditions. I couldn't decide between chai or cinnamon brown sugar cake....the woman I spoke to on the phone was great with her suggestions on filling and frosting. We ended up going with a Cinnamon Brown Sugar cake, with apple filling, and salted caramel buttercream. It sounded decadent for sure, but I was excited to try it on Christmas. She asked what my favorite color was, I said blue. But I also like beutral colors and to do what she wanted with it. When it came time to taste the cake, I was SO elated at how spongey the cake was, how the filling wasn't overkill, and the buttercream wasn't too sweet ... it was just enough. And the layer wasn't really thick. The cost of the cake was reasonable to other bakeries, but I almost think it was too inexpensive because the quality was just so superior. I finally found a bakery in this area that I love! 10/10 highly recommend!

We just got married May 20! It was an amazing day, in large part due to Traditions Bakery. We currently only have family-taken photos, but I will update the post when our professional photos come back. As soon as we met Kelly, we wanted to work with her, because she was clearly such a kind, hard-working person. And her cake was absolutely delicious! Multiple people told me it was the best wedding cake they’d ever had. People told me cake is only half finished at most at weddings. We had ordered cake for the 130 guests we sent invitations to, but our 100 guests in attendance still finished all of her delicious cake. (Most confessed to having two or even three pieces.) It was also beautiful.

I am sooo thankful I came across this bakery. I was desperate for a cake for my son's first birthday as the prior bakery I was going to use told me a week prior to the party they couldn't do my cake since they were on vacation. I panicked and googled local bakery's. I came across traditions and they happily took my order! The staff was absolutely wonderful and welcoming. Not only did they put in FAR more effort that the prior bakery stayed they would do, the size of the cake was huge and the design was absolutely what I wanted. The value for the cake and smash cake was absolutely so affordable!! It was such a great cake. Thank you SO much!!! I will be buying from you again!

Traditions Bakeshop is by far the best local bakery we have ever been to! We wouldn't even consider ourselves "dessert people", but we have a hard time staying away and now buying all the sweet treats we can carry! The seasonal desserts and platters that Kelly whips up are ingenious and, more importantly, delicious!

We even used Traditions Bakeshop for our wedding desserts — the cupcakes, cookies, and macarons we had were the topic of every conversation that night! Kelly is one of the best bakers in Southeastern Massachusetts. This is the only bakery whose desserts we actually dream of, especially the chocolate salted caramel cupcake and the blueberry lemon lavender cupcake. Not only were the desserts delicious, but Kelly did such a beautiful job assembling our dessert table and decorating our cake. We are so thankful for her & her staff and we already can’t wait to visit the shop for more delicious...

I stopped by this little bake shop on a whim, having passed it on my commute many times. I’m glad I did.

I got a fruit pastry and some other baked items. Let me tell you, this is the real deal. You can taste the real fruit in these pastries. Nothing is artificial. The pastry itself is delicate and tender. More importantly, everything here is fresh and baked in-house.

There’s nothing commercial or mass-produced about this place. This is what a bakery should aspire to be: simple, yet delicious. Baking, as it is with cooking, is a lot of little things done well and with love. Traditions Bakeshop does this beautifully.

If you’ve been to some other bakeries in the area and been disappointed, as I have, come here. Very impressed. The people here put love and hard work into their craft and it shows. I’ll surely be back...
