Reily Pizza — Restaurant in Reily Township

Where do I start. Its a dive bar. Its chaos. Its dirty. We walked in, sat at a not wiped down table for about 10 min before husband goes up to the bar to order. Asked for waters, never got them. As we were waiting for our food to cook, a man comes in with a dog. No one blinked an eye, must have been a regular. No, it was not a service dog. Food was all done by hand, so it took about 40 minutes from order to table. The' fried mushrooms' were dough covered mushrooms put in the oven. The steak hoagie was actually pretty good, but it was also covered in a ton of cheese, the sandwich itself was tasty. If you like cheese, this place is for you. I still havent found the crust on the pizza yet. Must be a local favorite, they had some lunch business. Drove an hour to get there as it was recommended by a coworker. While the food was hot and plentiful, we actually want a pizza to act like a pizza, not a huge mound of cheese and some toppings thrown on a dough disc that wasnt very cooked because they put it on a pan. It was interesting to watch the staff make the orders ,a sleeveless man, the waitress running around forgetting drink orders (the people behind us had to go up and get their beer and soda) and the other lady feeding pepperoni to the dog, but not washing her hands after. (As far as I can tell, she did not touch any of our food). Couldn't wait to get out of there. Not a fan, but Im sure they will be okay without us going back. Just wasnt our ' thing'. Not sure what to do with all the cheese we brought home....maybe go buy a premade pizza dough and make...

Well I would to share my experience but I can't. The past 3 times calling in order 1. Call and call. No one answers the phone at like 4pm on a monday. I called in it rang 30 times no answer i said huh. Then called back 20min later 20 rings In "reily pizza" I said yes I'd like to pla "1hr 45min wait. you still want food?" I said it's 12 noon on a Wednesday and you re already an 1.75hr behind? He said yep. I drove by 20 min later 1 car in the parking lot, I assume its the was bar keeps. Ill give em 1 more chance. So I Called today at 12 noon it's Saturday. Then just like clock work "reily pizza 1hr 45min wait. You StilI food or what?" thought wow surely they can't be swamped already. I mean it's noon on thon Saturday there no lunch time hustle bustle like during the week. So I declined and 15 min later I had to drive right by there to go actually go get some food. There were 2 cars in parking lot. So i turned around out spite went inside just a for science and there 1 guy sitting at bar and 1 chick cooking well I saw I orde on top of stove. Chick didn't look rushed nor busy. so if you wamt food go straight to oxford cause reily pizza is just to swamped for a little Ole hogey for lunch they must be busy solving riddles of or long hand trigonometry instead of feeding me...

This was our first time here. We live in Kentucky but were up this way to get something we needed, and decided to stop here for food as it was highly recommended.

I have an autistic child and the loud environment was too much for her and she went into meltdown. No biggie, we are used to this. I got her noise canceling headphones from the car for her and put them on her. Our waitress noticed and immediately said she’d turn the music down. I wanted to cry happy tears, as to most people her meltdowns seem like tantrums.

They also have SO many coloring books and a 200 count bucket of crayons and a pack of coloring pencils for kids to enjoy while waiting for food.

Our food was very delicious!!! We ordered the Hawaiian with no onion and it was so flavorful with gooey cheese.

This place is absolutely amazing and we will definitely make the long drive...
