Woodsman Cafe — Restaurant in Remer

My wife and I have been here a few times. The food has been great every time. They are always busy and usually fairly fast for the amount of people they serve. We have had great service and bad service. The last couple times we have had a server that makes us uncomfortable to even ask for anything. We ask for some creamer and she makes it obvious she is annoyed she has to make an extra trip. She has been tipped well both times because I do feel we ask a little more than your average couple. It is your job to serve your customers, and doing it with a rude attitude is not the way to earn business. If we come back again, and get the same treatment, we will not be coming back. Been here three times now, so they get 3 stars (one for each visit). The food is great, and the staff are friendly and nice; but the waiting times for every phase of the process is brutal. Regardless of dining population: wait for menus, wait for food, wait for check, wait for someone to get to the register...just not very efficient at all. Second time I was there it was pretty busy, and took no less than an hour & a half for food to hit the table----you'd think I would'nt be back after that, but the food is THAT good. We waited for our food for 50 min (After waiting 15 min for a server to take our order). When we told the waitress that we had to leave in 10 min, she apologized, brought out food 11 minutes later & gave us to go containers to put our food in. Once we got into our car & started eating we realized our food was cold. The food didn't taste bad considering it's cold temperature. We've been there prior to this & had good & prompt service.
