The workers here were very kind, but the owner treated us beyond terribly. My husband's breakfast was sitting in a puddle of grease and the home fries were slimy and mushy. Some of the other food was very disappointing but we didn't complain. We simply sent back my husband's food because it was not edible. They apologized but when we went to pay, the manager was on a VIDEO CALL on the workers phone to tell us she will not refund the food we sent back. She was very disrespectful and went on about how she owns many restaurants and have never had a complaint once. I have family who own restaurants and know this is a lie. She also stated the misleading "stock photos" on google are from her other restaurants. In addition i made her aware that many of the drinks in the fridge she is selling are expired and we took photos. She said we are not allowed to take any photos or video inside the restaurant. I just really couldn't believe how this woman was acting over a plate of food we sent back. She said she has a strict policy of never removing items off of a bill because people come through and try to get free food, or change their minds when they get their food. We went back and forth for quite a while and long story short, I paid for all of our food except the food that was returned. After I paid she told the worker to tell us we were trespassing and that we weren't welcome there. She had her woker follow us to the window and write down our tag # on our vehicle. I spoke to multiple police officers when we left the restaurant to report this incident, and they told me they know who she is and she has called in quite a bit with these kind...
Read moreHere’s the thing. The owner can indeed cook. And bake for that matter. BUT… the menu is too big, so it just wasn’t great. Any successful restaurant owner knows that a huge menu is a red flag, as you can’t dedicate the time and preparation needed for every single item to make each thing great. This place was no exception. It took an hour and a half for our food. They brought out each food item out separately, with at least 15 minutes between each meal served. So we all watched each other eat. My 5 year old was laying her head down on table after 50 minutes of waiting and watching others eat. And we were the only customers there. She said she makes her own sauces. Great. But if you can’t pre-make those to an extent so that they don’t take an hour to make each one, then you’re doing it wrong. If she would focus on having everything ready to go for JUST 20 items or so, she’d be golden. But how do you have everything ready to make 100 different things? You don’t. From one restaurant worker to another, take my advice and pick your favorite items that you know will sell, and go from there. Maybe focus on the bakery/ice cream parlor side with some basic lunch items? The whole restaurant/bakery/café/candy shop/ice cream parlor is an overwhelming mix of Italian/American/Mexican/Japanese items. I love the candy, love the ice cream, but frankly you’re...
Read moreWe ordered takeout. The wait was a little long but good things come to those who wait. The Reuben Burgers, Rebecca and I had, were huge and delicious. The side of fries were good also. We also had Crab Ragoon which were divine. The Cuban my mother had was also large and she liked it very much. All in all we were very satisfied. We will be eating here again and spreading the word.
