Denny's — Restaurant in Resaca

Way too much time lost, there is a few great waitresses, but some that cannot comprehend, especially for TRUCKERS time is $, and spending up to 1hr or longer, to get a meal isn't productive. Biggest issue is they don't do drink refills, and practically ignore you even when you ask. Been lot of past visits there. and 1cup of coffee isn't going to cut it! Everyone knows the universal signal of EMPTY cup or glass at edge of table is desiring a refill. The sit em , get them fed and on their way, makes turning the tables more customers and tips per hr average ,simple concepts. 3/3/2022 favorite waitress waited on us, sat,ate,left with refill to go all was great! Well 6 months update, still great Cooks but still a certain waitress, with her Attitudes, finally enuff is enuff!!! We had usual Bomb 💣 whenever I get stuck with this particular waitress. This is gonna be lengthy. For a Professional Driver on RUN don't come here, if desiring sit down meal.If Parked for your required off duty, time to kill better, but still pray you don't get this particular waitress .. many visits in past 2+ yrs, Covid issuse didn't help any business, but restaurant, not giving a sit down meal drink refill , #1 issue here, then many times items missing part of meal , #2 a salad with no crackers , tomatoes, and other usual Ingredients, (I can understand supply/season issues at times) mostly here dennys breakfast time, once in a blue moon dinner times .thankfully mz old & Attitudes waitress don't work then. But has been *food cuts also of Ingredients. Well last visit that I call the BOMB, always have gone to any restaurant with expecting a nice meal , enjoying the atmosphere and no issues,, sit, eat, enjoy and LEAVE back on Road. Not at any restaurant to kill the time or day. Never had issues with other waitresses or restaurants or even other Dennys locations. The ongoing BOMB is subsatute of a food item that your intolerant Food Allergy of . Simple substitute of not getting pancakes with a breakfast and ask get 1 dry plain muffin instead no issue but for this 1 particular waitress, her Attitude is "it's stealing, and on all past times visits of no refills is where too busy!" Pretty bad when stop here is praying it's the Hags day off isn't it? ** 9/15/22 happened to swing in for fuel and breakfast and new faces , not usual day go there, but had my usual, got my request for substitute the pancakes that come with meal for 1 dry muffin, no HASSLES sat n ate and back on Road, even got a coffee refill way should be. Have never been so disappointed with a Denny’s! My husband is a truck driver so believe me when I say we see A LOT of Denny’s & we will never return here! Absolutely horrible! Before I start? I need to say that they were NOT busy! There were only 4 tables sat at. I counted 6 tables that still had dirty dishes. We passed them thinking the 1st booths we passed were actually clean but they weren’t wiped down, even the booth she sat us at wasn’t wiped-it had salt & grease still on it so I wiped it! Anyways we arrived @ 8:10 pm, we weren’t even acknowledged till 8:25 pm along with 2 other people. we were finally seated @ 8:35 pm, at a dirty table. Waitress took almost 10 mins to come to our table. We ordered right then (8:45 pm)- 2 pops, salmon dinner & breakfast with pancakes. The waitress then, after waiting for our drinks till 9:10 pm, we watched her stand talking to another woman, right in the kitchen doorway, holding our pops, talking over them for 6 minutes before she brought them to us @ 9:16 pm! Said she was sorry but she was telling someone about (I actually can’t remember her whole excuse I was too angry at that point)! She brought out our food @ 9:30pm! The food was pretty good, but the blueberries in pancakes were ‘hard’ so it wrecked the pancakes. I tried picking them out but there wasn’t much pancake left afterwards. We ate really quick then waited & waited for our check & a box. I finally just got up & walked to another girl asking for a box & check. Waited another 5 mins maybe longer honestly before we got up “with my plate” & waited at kitchen door for our waitress. We finally paid & walked out @ 9:50- PM! We were there for over an hour & half! Insanity smh… On one good note? When she actually came to our table, twice, she was nice. We didn’t tip! 1st time in my life,ever! I served for 7 years so I know servers live on tips! If they had been busy it would have been understandable. I took piks of our food but didn’t want to take piks of dirty tables because I didn’t want our food...

Resaca, GA My Order was brought out to me with no Caramelize Onions as I had ordered from the menu. This was not a special order, what I ordered was on the menu. When I informed the waitress that my burger that was served to me consisted only of meat and cheese and did not have the caramelize onions as was ordered, I was told by the waitress, "the cook said they were out of Caramelize Onions but they could bring me regular onions". Hey Einstein, if you have regular onions, then why didn't the cook prepare my Caramelize Onions? If it's on the menu, then prepare them. You had onions, the problem was, your cook was just too lazy to prepare Caramelize Onions. Also, after I informed the waitress of my order being wrong, we were then treated like we had done something wrong by every employee in the building, particularly the young man that Checked us out and took my money. There was no reason for the employees to give us the cold shoulder just because they didn't even attempt to get my order right or have the decency to inform me that that particular menu item wasn't available. No, they just brought me a burger out out with cheese. If I had been informed, I would have ordered something else. It appeared the employees were to busy gossiping and flirting with one another to even care about the guest. I'll be eating at the Waffle House and IHOP just...
