Md's Sports Tavern & Grill — Restaurant in Richfield Township

It has been SO long since my Husband & I have found amazing and great quality food. Well look no more because this place is it! MD’s was an establishment where we continuously suprised each time we ordered something. We started off with the mac and cheese bites as well as the pulled pork nachos. The mac and cheese bites were good but the pulled pork nachos were the best nachos we have EVER had. The pulled pork was smoked and so great. They came with sour cream and salsa to top them off and the salsa was homemade and put any mexican restaraunts salsa’s to shame! I couldn’t believe it, such a fantastic recipe. Then I ordered a ribeye cooked medium and I have never had a better steak from anywhere. So juicy and cooked to percection. My Husband got the dry rub ribs which is how it comes (they put their bbq sauces on the side which are also homemade and phenomenal!) my Husband is a big time rib guy and cannot find good ribs anywhere. At MD’s they smelled SO good and were smoked to perfection also. They were super tasty and juicy and fell right off of the bone. They weren’t dry and lacking meat, quite the opposite actually. Each main dish came with moist and delicious cornbread! We each got 2 sides of their yummy mac and cheese and our 5 year old daughter got mac & cheese with a side of fries. She loved her meal as well as ours (she tried all of our stuff too!) The only thing we didn’t like was the red velvet cake but no biggie, it was ordered and not made. It’s very clear that this establishment knows good food. My husband & I will be making the 20 minute drive back whenever we want good food. I called in a pizza order for pick up. I ordered a 12 inch pizza with five items and a side of garlic cheese dip. I was told it would be $32 and some change and it would be 30 minutes and then the girl hung up. I thought that was high for a 12 inch pizza and a side of garlic cheese dip, so I called back and asked them to repeat my order. My order had a full order of breadsticks added to it and chicken tenders. I told them to remove the breadsticks and the chicken tenders and went to pick up my pizza. When I get there I now have on my bill a 16 inch pizza when I ordered the 12 inch pizza , and when I confronted Madison, the girl who took the order, she proceeded to tell me that I was wrong and had ordered chicken tenders and breadsticks as well. I never said chicken tenders ever in my order nor did she read my order back to me to include chicken tenders and breadsticks on the phone . I understand that good help might be hard to find these days, but Madison is far below average and should go back to school to learn a trade instead of being an argumentative waitress. She is anything but an asset to the restaurant. And then,, after all of that, the pizza was over cooked, tough crust and just absolutely terrible. A $25.00...

Excellent Customer Service. It was very busy & packed. But, as I went inside to pick up my Relatives Order. All the Waitresses & Waiters were Working hard. And doing a Great Job. Beth the Waitress is the one who waited on us. And helped with My Relatives Takeout Order. I know that Md's Sports Tavern & Grill has great tasting & very flavorful Chicken Wings. I did get to taste them before. What I like about Md's Sports Tavern & Grill is the Owners do a Excellent Job running this Pop & Mom Shop. I went here many years ago & I love the Layout of the Restaurant & I love all the Tv's & Screens that Show & have going different Sports Channels & Sports Games going on. I love the Style & Designs of the Tables that a Person or Couple or Family can set at. I like the Bar Counter & Stools where a Person can sit & eat at too. This is a great Place for Good Food & Customer Service. And to have Fun Watching & Listening to Sports & to Visit Family & Friends. When my Husband was alive he liked like Cheeseburger & Fries. So, I recommend this Place to Anyone. Buy Local. Support this great Mom & Pop Place. Come Near or Far. You can't go wrong...
