Very disappointed, unlike Chick fil a as a corporation, but disappointment was justified after interaction with employees. I was at the hospital super early for a procedure with a family member. I was looking forward to grabbing coffee here because they posted their hours as 6:30 am - 9 pm but when I arrived at 6:40 am the gate was still closed. I stood there with other hospital staff and visitors in anticipation of the restaurant opening. We waited and waited; we could all here people behind the gate so we knocked...no answer. As the line grew more and more still no response from the multiple knocks or answering the phone when I called, (that we could hear ringing), an employee walked up. She entered through an unmarked door to the right of the gate. Prior to entering, a person in line requested that she find out what was going on and to let all of us who were still in line know - she obliged with, "my pleasure". Unfortunately, she never returned. So, it was now well after 7 am still no response from the employee nor from the intermittent knocks on the gate. I proceeded to crack open the door that the employee entered into and said "hello". Low and behold I was greeted by her and just as young people these days do, she skirted the issue of not opening and why she did not return to update us. I explained that they could have at least put a note on the gate or she could have returned to tell us as I am sure Chick fil a would have expected her to do. While speaking a very rude Hispanic young lady appeared who indicated that they had a big order and would not be opening for at least another hour. I acknowledged that, but also indicated that plenty of other Chick fil a's take on big orders and do not have to shut down or worse, not open. When I repeated that they could have notified customers with a note she decided it was a good idea to come and try to shut the door in my face telling me it was an employee entrance and again I asked where THAT signage was because it was an unmarked door. I shut the door. Chick fil a - Chippenham, you must be alerted to abnormal behavior at your establishment. I understand that the rude young lady could have been overwhelmed by one big order, but how she handled herself and how she communicated with me was less than desirable. Please use this as a training opportunity because I know that Chick fil a stands for more than that and would not like for customers to be...
Read moreThey treat their employees wonderful UNTIL they don't like them anymore (no im not a former employee but i visited the restaurant frequently). I don't know who owns this franchise but their management is a direct reflection on THEM! the level of unprofessionalism is unheard of, the lack of awareness (trying to clean the lobby when we the customers are sitting down eating or standing inine waiting to be serviced or for our food), the snark remarks from members of MANAGEMENT is unheard of and does not represent the Chick-fil-A brand. If this is what happens when Chick-fil-A franchises their business to owners who allow their store to be opened without MANAGEMENT at 6 in the morning they need to do better! A manager doesn't waltz in that door u til 8-9 the store has had motion at that point for 2/3 hours. A complete crew re do is what is needed and supervisors who actually WANT to...
Read moreThe food experience was great and amazing. The #1 and #2 was full of flavor and so was the fries. I tried the peppermint milkshake for the first time, and I loved it; it had great taste! They got the food out in no time! What was a pain was the customer service. The door was literally locked while employees were there! It was still regular business hours (about 1pm) and it took 10 minutes to get them to open the door. Staff was working really hard to get the food out regardless of the full line waiting to place and order. It took me around 7 minutes to place it. Overall, it took me 30 minutes to get Chick-Fil-a when drive-thru is way much faster. (No drive thru in this location, just a...
