Maybe they treat locals better. I had read good things about this place, but our experience was not great. Lori, the server, was very snippy when we asked about anything on the menu. She acted as if the place was busy and we were taking up her time. It was far from busy! I got the chicken fried steak and was disappointed. The oil/grease they used must have been old, because everything on my plate tasted a little bit off. The menu said the meal came with a biscuit, corn, and mashed potatoes. I was treated to a piece of bread that was toasted (but just on one side), INSTANT mashed potatoes🤢(for $18.50, I should receive real potatoes!), no corn, and a dried piece of chicken fried steak. My husband's taco salad had brown pieces of lettuce, and the taco meat was not seasoned but appeared to be a broken up old hamburger. Our drinks were never refilled. On the bright side, if you like pickled beets, this is the place for you. They seem to put a slice or two on every plate, regardless of what you order. Overall, a really...
Read moreMy family brought me home the shrimp salad. When I first opened the container, I didn't see any shrimp. I searched through the lettuce and I found bits and pieces of a pink like substance which I am led to believe to be the shrimp. I tried some of this pink foreign substance and it LITERALLY disolved in my mouth. It was DISGUSTING. It completely turned my stomach inside out🤢 By the taste of it it, I thought my family had pranked me and somes parts from a can of cat food on top of, well... under the lettuce of a salad and tried to pass it off as the real thing. I paid $12.95 for something I literally could not eat. Beyond picking through the "shrimp" I had to stòp eating because I feel like I'm going to 🤮.
We don't know what happened tonight. I guess we will stick...
Read moreWe got a beer and then they completely ignored us for 25 minutes before we finally decided to leave. Which gave us plenty of time to watch the crazy amount of cross contamination going on behind the counter. To touch the raw meat with no gloves, and then put bread in the toaster, then touch all the vegetables and fries, not impressed and disgusted. We went up to just pay for the beer so we could leave (which is illegal to do in Utah) and they didn't apologize or even realize they had never offered to take our order. We tried to get the girls attention multiple times and eventually gave up and left. Not recommended, so many better family owned...
