Royal Drive - In — Restaurant in Ridgway Township

Stopped in for lunch on our trip to Gettysburg. We wanted to support a local "fast" food joint instead of a typical fast food joint. Burgers were good, fries were gross though, no salt and you don't get many at all. It set us back a bit for our trip waiting though because there was only one girl working the whole place (she was working hard, so I don't blame her but they need another person there) and a lot of people started stopping in. She forgot our hot dog and the slushy machine wasn't working, so they refunded us for that and we had to go back in for my son's hot dog. Not sure if stop in there again, if we ever were going through again. Just posting a review for anyone else...

We were passing through, on our way home from a relatives funeral, and decided to stop for some ice cream. We had already stopped earlier for dinner but I wish we had stopped here for dinner. Even though the establishment is very dated looking the ice cream was good, just not the best we've ever had.

The next time we pass though I would like to stop to try one of their burgers and fries. The only downfall of this diner is the bathrooms are not...

I stumbled upon this little gem traveling to my hometown.. I stop every time I go through there and the girls behind the counter are always friendly and service is on point.. great selection of ice cream and menu items are fairly priced , portioned nicely and taste yummy!
