After a hot morning of exploring Montezuma’s Castle, we took a recommendation from a guy at the gift shop and headed to Robbie’s for lunch. As we walked in, it was clear that Robbie’s is a locals fav (always a good sign), when we were treated to a large group cutting cake and singing happy birthday, complete with one person taking the high descant harmony. I flashed back to the scene in My Best Friends Wedding where the group sings “I Say A Little Prayer For You’ in harmony at the restaurant - bit I digress. Back to Robbie’s. Robbie’s is a little treasure in Rimrock, AZ. The people are friendly, the deco makes you smile and reflects the town, it’s hometown-cozy, and the food is GOOD. My blueberry lemonade hit the spot on that hot day. Between us we tasted the Elk Chili with Fry Bread, pizza balls, jalapeño cheese curds, and philly cheese steak sandwich. All delicious. I watched locals kibitz at the bar with a very busy bartender whose t-shirt said he was “kicking it in Rimrock”, had a lovely chat with the waitress who told me she moved away for awhile but ultimately came back “home” with her daughter, and we met Robbie - who was very busy prepping for Sunday’s new breakfast menu - but still took time to talk to us, make sure our food was good, and indulge me in a picture.

Nice place, very comfortable, good food, fair prices, and the bartender (Kate?) Was excellent. Very personable, professional yet friendly, and very competent! She was wearing a mask, but a woman going back and forth from kitchen to restaurant was not wearing one. Why?? She actually stood directly in front of me and my meal, on the other side of the bar, filling up a container. Made me very uncomfortable. If I had known before ordering, we would have left. To me the mask is not a political statement or a personal freedom, it's just the polite and safer thing to do. Cuts back on common cold and flu transmission too! Thank you for reading!

Pros: More than pizza. I had BBQ chicken sandwich, my wife had a burger, we had artichoke dip appetizer. Drinks. Beer, soda, water, liquor, take your pick. Friendly staff. Multiple TVs to watch whatever game. Plenty of parking. Hollywood western theme throughout: most small places don't seem to know what their theme is supposed to be, this one does with pictures of John Wayne & Clint Eastwood spread out for viewing pleasure. Cons: It isn't fast food. It's not supposed to be, so sit down, relax, and enjoy your meal. This isn't a con unless you wanted fast food, but then maybe you should have packed your own lunch.

Every Saturday night my husband and I go out to dinner with family, today we decided to go to Robbie's, hadn't been in a while. First we realize it was a Saturday night, so we knew it would be busy, but didn't know there would be a band. The band was good but way too loud for such a small place, we could not hear each other and had to yell to the people sitting right next to us. We asked the server if we could go in the back room and was told " no, it's closed, but you can sit on the patio ". So outside we go, it's chilly but tolerable. We had asked for fresh iced tea, because the first glasses they brought us were cloudy and bitter. We sat outside and waited and waited, finally a different gal came out and told us they were brewing new tea and it would take about 10 minutes. I had to ask for water while we waited, we did not see our server again for several minutes, when she brought our appetizers she did not take our order. In the meantime a family with 3 small children came out and sat at the table across from us and we watched as the kids started running all over the place. Up and down the garden planters, messing with the yard lights. It was ridiculous and to make matters worse one of the women went out and got her two chihuahuas for the kids to hold. Waitress came out and told them dogs had to go, dogs never left. Then as the kids are running around, Robbie the owner comes out and yells at us about " no kids running around ". I told him " not our kids and I mentioned the fact that we're sitting outside, cold because the band was so loud, he said " I could sit you in the back room, it's not open, but I could sit you back there although it sounds like we're past that now "! Long story short, we told them to make our food to go, we were freezing by this time, the dogs never left, the kids still ran all over and although they did not charge us for dinner (we were more than willing to pay), by the time we got our food home we noticed 4 out of the 5 orders were wrong. Chances are we will drive into the next town on Saturday nights and...

This is definitely the perfect little hidden gem. It's been a very long time since I've given all aspects is a place full stars.

The locations is only slightly off the highway and it should be a spot to visit for a fantastic meal.

Their drinks are amazingly priced and the quality is 30 times better than Starbucks. They can do lattes, fraps, regular, and even adult coffee (aka those that like a like alcohol in their coffee).

They even have mimosas which if I didn't have my little one with me I would have happily enjoyed a few.

They even have a simple basic menu however again the quality outshines the simplicity of the items. The presentation was even great.

Their bakery items looked amazing, I wanted to take some for the road but we were stuffed. I'll definitely be taking some next time I come through.

The design, atmosphere, and ambiance have the feeling of being in a comfy spot at your own home, that's clean, and with a moments of peace that you feel you finally captured better then TV. It's relaxing and enjoyable.

They are kid friendly and have a wonderful staff, she was bubbly and welcoming.

They have plenty of parking space.

They are even military friendly.

Again, I honestly loved this place. I hope anyone that reads this comes and tries out their items.

Also, sorry for forgetting to add photos my family and I liked everything so much I forgot to take photos like...

While having lunch with my family I had one of the worst experiences at a restaurant, which makes me terrible sad considering this is a common place we come to eat. It took over an hour to get our food and while we were waiting for our food we saw our server, Destiny playing with a baby and sitting at a booth on several occasions and did not bother to check in on us, and when we got our food it was cold, after some more time she came back and asked how everything was I did mention that my food was partially burned and did not taste okay at all, the response I got was “oh” and she walked away. My grandmother ended sharing her food with me so I had something to eat so when she came back with our ticket I asked if it was possible to have the item removed from the ticket, she immediately told me “no you ate half of it” which wasn’t true, I had 2 small bites of the sandwich and my grandmother tried it once just to confirm that it was in fact, not edible. But she wasn’t willing to find a manger or put in any effort to see if there was anything they could do whether it was to put in something else for me to eat or refund the food. As soon as we got up front to pay it was mentioned that the sandwich was not edible and the other server was so kind about it and was willing to take off the item since I didn’t get to eat and was trying to...
