OK, they have been open 2 or 3 weeks, but here's the skinny, I live here. First red flag, the draft beer tap handles do not mean they have that beer, may be something else like I forgot what the big stella handle dispensed but not stella. The service in the dining room was OK, but the kitchen speed is way off on a total non busy Wedneesday night with very few patrons. I can't imagine on a busy night. Our food for three was excessively long for standard menu items, family in front of me had that 'we been waiting forever' look too, way too long. The food. If I was opening a restaurant I would want to impress, not the case. This is mediocre at best, you can get this anywhere...a little faster. There is nothing here to make me come back or recommend...yet. I will give 'em another try if they make it a few months. Just my opinion but I am right ; )

We sat at the bar and ordered the trio combination. Beef taco, beef burrito and chicken enchilada. All three tasted good and were seasoned well. I also had three ultra tall drafts which were terrific. Their chilled mug is second only to twin peaks. They also have many more Mexican style beers on hand then listed on the menu. The manager Victor was cool. He let my friend and me try a Mexican hangover drink which consists of basically a spicy tomato mix with seltzer water I think. Overall it's a nice place that is only a few weeks in. I will visit this restaurant again. They have one of the most comfortable bars I've ever been to. Chairs with back rest and a perfect foot stool. I had 4 beers and dinner for 25 bucks.

I went here today with my mother and it was the BEST experience I've ever had dining out. I got the chicken crazy rice and the horchata which were both amazing. My mother got the fajita hawaiana and said it was delicious and it filled her up quick. The place is definitely a little pricey but you're guaranteed to take extra home. They have a vegetarian section on their menu, are wheelchair accessible, and have plenty of free parking. The server we had was attentive and did his job well. The place was nice too.

🌟 Margaritas Mexican Restaurant in Riverside, AL, is an absolute treasure! 🌮 From the moment you walk in, the vibrant decor and welcoming atmosphere set the stage for an unforgettable dining experience. The menu is packed with authentic Mexican flavors that will make your taste buds dance!

I started with their Queso Fundido—a gooey, cheesy masterpiece topped with chorizo that’s perfect for sharing (or not!). For the main course, the Carne Asada was a showstopper—tender, juicy steak grilled to perfection and served with fresh guacamole, rice, and beans. Every bite was a flavor explosion!

And let’s talk about their margaritas—WOW! 🍹 The classic lime margarita was perfectly balanced, tangy, and refreshing, while the mango margarita was like a tropical vacation in a glass. They also have a great selection of tequilas if you’re feeling adventurous!

The service was top-notch, with friendly staff who made sure every detail was perfect. Whether you’re craving sizzling fajitas, cheesy enchiladas, or their famous chile rellenos, Margaritas has something for everyone.

If you’re in Riverside, AL, and looking for authentic Mexican cuisine and killer margaritas, this is THE spot. I’ll definitely be back...

I ordered a mixture of things so we could get a good taste. Street Tacos - Chorizo, Pastor, and Chicken. They were delicious! I highly recommend them! The pastor was especially good! Chile Relleno - Cheese only. I loved it, my Mother loved it, my husband was not a fan. Chicken Quesadilla Tapatia - must have been good. My husband ate it all and shared none. Chilaquiles - Steak. I've been waiting for a Mexican restaurant to have chilaquiles for forever! They did not let me down. Although they were missing the eggs, it was still delicious. I would definitely order again! The guacamole was very good also. The salsa, sadly, was the only let down. It was very tomatoey. And I, personally, prefer a chunkier salsa. They do have pico de gallo, next time I'll try some. The chips are thick, but that's good. They don't break...
