Oh what a great experience we had today at our favorite waterside restaurant in Florida! Circles Waterside at Lands End Marina earns a rare 5 stars that I have only given to about a 100 restaurants for their Lunch menu . 5 stars is reserved for our favorite eateries in about 89 countries so far. Mrs Revival and I ate "lunch outside on the terrace, but as many Southerners would say, we ate "supper on the porch"! Whatever....
Mrs Revival and I began with a wonderful adult "cold beverage" especially made by a "professional mixologist " at a well stocked area and we shared an appetizer of peel -n- eat JUMBO Gulf Shrimp boiled in Old Bay spices as we watched a beautiful 60 ft yacht dock on beautiful, shimmering water off Tampa Bay! I then had a personal favorite of mine, a grouper sandwich! As I took my first bite I was momentarily smitten by my tastebuds and briefly lost focus on the harbor , the yacht and the lovely Mrs Revival [don't tell her, please!].... Back to my sandwich review, which I gave a 6+ star culinary rating for this Seafood delight! It is only the 2nd 6 star (the other was a burger), that have given out of several hundred sandwich ratings from around the world.. Mrs Revival had broccoli, blackened grilled Mahi, sauteed zucchini, tomatoes and corn, yukon gold mashed [yummy] and remoulade sauce. She says it was 5++ stars! Wow! The Mrs does not hand those out easily and rarely for a lunch menu item!!! She said that the Mahi was great but she also loved the "mashed" yukon gold.... So, we are letting you in on a Revival family secret...Circles Waterside is one of our favorite local restaurants (since we live nearby). But please DO NOT tell everyone! It is now our little secret! Now we will rate the inside fine dining experience on our next visit. Just to preview, you culinary adventure is prepared by award an award winning Executive Chef who prepares your Seafood, Steaks and Pasta that will bless your eyes and tastebuds! But I get ahead of myself. You will dine with us soon! Afterwards we can listen to the live band as we enjoy desert..... So check out Circles for lunchtime and let us know if you love it as much as...
Read moreIf I could give this place no stars I would!! We were treated disgusting as we pulled up to the parking lot! We asked a lady in which direction the handicapped parking was, she pointed over there and said we close in 12 minutes! She looked annoyed as if we were bothering her! I am not dumb, we called the restaurant to see prior to driving there what time they close and we were told 9pm! We asked what’s the latest we could get there and the lady on the phone said 9pm! Well apparently this restaurant needs some additional training for their staff as the customer service is terrible! Just to let the management team know, I was celebrating my birthday with my dad! Thank you for ruining my evening and my experience celebrating my first birthday in Florida! Also, you never know what people are going through and we had just dealt with a big health scare with my dad! It was supposed to be a very enjoyable evening! We then were seated outside and told that part of the patio outside was closed! No problem, anywhere outside was fine by us! As soon as we are seated the gentleman says make sure when your server comes your ready because the kitchen closes in ten minutes! I turn to my dad after and said let’s go I’m not giving this establishment my hard earned money! When we walked out the girl that said 12 minutes to us was in the front standing there next to the guy who has long hair, they were talking, she looked at me and I said by the way thank you for reminding us that the restaurant closes in 12 minutes as if we didn’t know! She then said to me you’re welcome and laughed instead of being apologetic! What a wonderful employee Circles has working there representing your name as an established restaurant in Apollo Beach Florida! I am highly disgusted by how we were treated, very poorly for such a nice waterfront dining experience establishment! I have been doing Google reviews for years, and as an established leader for many years of a multi million dollar company that I worked for, I must say this is my first one star review I have ever done on Google! Thank you for ruining...

Anytime I want to feel close to nature and the ocean while enjoying a delicious meal, my husband knows exactly where to take me—Circles Waterfront Restaurant in Apollo Beach. This place checks all the boxes: amazing food, great service, and an unbeatable setting.
The moment we arrived, the relaxed beachside atmosphere welcomed us in. We were seated in the sandy outdoor lounge area near the water, under a shady canopy, with comfy beach chairs and tables to sip on drinks while we waited for our table. The wait was short, and the service was friendly and prompt.
Our server was attentive and helpful from the start. We ordered a bottle of Pinot Grigio and some appetizers. I always go for the calamari, but let me tell you—the Crack is Whack Shrimp is an absolute must-try if you’re not allergic to shellfish! 🍤🔥 The flavor is out of this world. My husband was so impressed, he poured the leftover sauce over his entrée—it’s that good. That dish alone is worth the visit.
For our entrées, we both ordered the Daily Fresh Catch, which you can pair with several delicious sides. But for us, the winner every time is the garlic and herb orzo pasta—it complements the fish perfectly. We also had sautéed asparagus and mashed potatoes on the side. Everything was perfectly cooked, flavorful, and beautifully presented.
We wrapped up the evening with dessert to go: the Crème Brûlée (my personal favorite) and the Circles Cheesecake—both sweet, satisfying finishes to a memorable meal. 🍮🍰
While they offer indoor seating and a full bar, we always prefer the outdoor oceanfront tables—the views, the breeze, and the tranquil vibes create the perfect dining experience.
If you’re in the area and looking for great seafood, standout appetizers, and a truly Floridian atmosphere, Circles Waterfront Restaurant is a must. Don’t leave without trying the Crack is Whack Shrimp—you’ll thank...
