The food was fire, dude at the window said to leave a review if i liked it and here i am. I got the griot and the recommended sides were the jonjon rice and plantains, so i rolled with that. Straight up im not haitian and im not too well versed in that typa food but in comparison to other spots that I’ve gotten griot with rice this was FIRE, super crispy on the outside, tender and juicy on the inside, marinated with flavor all through out, a little plus for me was finding tiny bone chunks stuck to my meat every here or there so ik somebody is in the back chopping up that pork from the heart. JonJon rice was moist and seasoned up nice, made a perfect starchy side to cut out the vinegary/fattyness thats in the pork, next time tho im definitely swapping out the plantian tostone thingies for some collard greens or sum. Honestly tho the real reason i hopped on google to write this review tho was this lemonade im sippin back right now for real, dude at the window asked if i want a drink with my order and when i asked him if he has “the blue lemonade” (probably thinking of every other bbq spot on earth) my guy dropped like 5 flavors on me and asked which I wanted, the only one I honestly heard was the last flavor, that also sounded the most appealing; the “petes crazy delicious mix lemonade”, i didnt want to ask mr dude to go thru the flavors again bc that sounded pretty good so i just slid with that. BOY, this lemonade is so stupid good i cant stress it enough, i thought it would just be a mix of all the other flavors they have but it seems to be its own unique fruity pebbles flavor, and its banging. When i added it to my order window dude man said “good choice” and i thought it was just so he could make me feel a lil better about the 4.50 upsell he just scored on me but for real as soon as i popped the straw in and took a sip i said naw they earned their 5 star review just off this drank alone. Im deffo going back and asking for less ice so i can get like 3 more sips of this goodness bc my cup empty by the end of this review and im jealous of back when i wrote da first sentence. GET THE CRAZY BLAH BLAH MIX LEMONADE YOU WILL...

Yall don’t eat here the owner will try to scam you like he tried to do today. I pulled up the first time when they opened I put in my order he said “Jon Jon rice wasn’t ready” I said “okay, when is it going to be to ready” he said “one” I said “ok” then he said “if you pay now I’ll give you a discount” the total was $21 sum and he said he will have me pay $20 instead of $21 LIKE REALLY ONLY A DOLLAR OFF WERIDO and I told him that on the menu it says it’s $18.00 the be gone say to pay him $20 first so he knows will come back I been here about 5 times and never had that happen to me..so I didn’t pay and I told him I’ll be back. Around 1:30 I pull back up. He told it wasn’t ready again and he told me “see u should paid first so I know you was coming back for real” I said “well I’m back I didn’t have to pay you first” he gone say “it’s like a restaurant how am I suppose to give you something if u don’t pay” I said “why would i pay u first when the food I wanted is not done and why would I leave without my food” soooo overall don’t go here he tried to scam me…if he had the jon jon rice ready I would of paid and got my food and left but since he said it wasn’t ready and wanted me to pay regardless without my food I told him “oh well✌🏽”...

Pete is hilarious, I'd keep ordering just to chat with the guy, he's a good soul! The brisket was devine, it's so hard to get the seasoning right without drying it out, or making it bland. This was everything I wanted. I only rated the food at 4 stars because the sauce needs to be on the side if you plan to take it home and reheat it. It gets kinda weird when microwaved.... but still tasty! Collards were soooooo good!! I'm from OK and these brought back memories of my auntie in AR. Cooked to perfection, no bitterness at all, just savory goodness! Mac was a different story. I love the concept, but the whole thing was dry, not just the bottom, it was lacking flavor and creaminess. I wouldnt order it again next time. Still...Not a deal breaker for me. Cornbread was excellent, subtly sweet, soft, and an excellent dessert. I would've paired it with blackberries when I got home but it never made it that far!

Overall, excellent service. Cute cats. Relaxed outdoor dining. Best Brisket, collards, and cornbread in FL. And pricing is reasonable. Go support this local business,...
