My co-workers and I met downstairs for breakfast. I ordered a veggie omelet and specifically said "no pork". I also ordered a side of turkey sausage and grabbed potatoes and grapes from the self-serve bar. Our server was attentive and very nice. The food arrived hot and fresh. At the second to last bite, I noticed a piece of ham in the omelet. It may not seem like a big deal to some, but it was gut wrenching to me. I do not eat pork. I was noticeable upset and the server approached. She acknowledged that I did not order that and apologized profusely. She comp'd the bill, which I protested. I asked her to bring me a zero'd ticket so I could leave her a tip for her service, which she did. I then asked for the manager to call me to discuss how this happened and how we could prevent it from happening in the future.
The day came to a close and I received no call from the manager. I called the front desk and asked to speak to the manager. The "acting GM", Crystal Sullivan, was not available at that time nor could they tell me if she had...
Read moreThe service here was the most unprofessional and inconsistent I have ever encountered at any hotel or restaurant. You can hear the chef yelling across the lounge of the entire first floor. The servers are hit or miss but generally have not been well trained. I asked for a beer to be interrupted and told they don’t have it, when I said they had it last week, the server went back and found it - to be dismissive before even checking is not to general service standards. I ordered a dish and waited 15 minutes just to be told they did not have that - how it took 15 min for the restaurant to determine that is beyond me. That should be something the severs know at the onset of the night to alert patrons. The only thing this place has going for it is that it is inside the hotel. Management needs to spend more time training the staff and understanding service as it makes the hotel look...
Read moreI'm going to agree with Mark Inge and John Bleazy, sort of. The people that work here are among the nicest people I ever meet, they're also slow and incompetent.
Blame that on management. We pass through and stay here 4 times a year and it's always the same.
They just created a new food and drink menu, and joked they don't have "a lot" of the ingredients for the food and drinks on the menu.
That's management. There's never more than 6/8 people at a time eating dinner here and I guess they don't care.
Go north a couple of miles to Highway 158, there are a bunch of restaurants up there. ALL chain restaurants, nothing hi end, but you...
