Casey's Cakes — Restaurant in Roanoke

Casey made our wedding cake and it was absolutely amazing! Our guests kept telling us how much they enjoyed it and commented that it was so light and fluffy. The buttercream was delicious, and didn't taste artificial like some of the cakes you get at a store. Everything was made from quality ingredients and it all the components were home made, but presented so professionally. The process for ordering our cake was also so smooth. Casey prepared about 2 dozen cupcakes with so many flavors for u to try and did not charge us for the tasting, which I thought was really generous. It was really fun getting to taste all the options. I placed an order for my daughters birthday. My daughters cake looked nothing like what was sent from the sizing to the candy to just everything. I was informed that the candy was hard to find however, I went to party city and found all the candy that was on the cake in the picture that was sent. The taste of the cake itself was okay there were small tooth picks in it when I cut into it at my daughters party which would have been bad had I not seen them. I tried to reach out a few days in advance to inform Casey I had a cake topper and was told cake had been made already which was fine. We had a blast working with Casey! From the first visit with her, Casey made us feel totally confident in her work, and we were given over a dozen cupcake flavors to taste (all were great!). We had a special design for the groom’s cake at the rehearsal dinner, and Casey did a great job with our unique suggestion (R2D2 in a tux). She also made our wedding cake and cupcakes for the big day. We chose four flavors for the cupcakes, and they all turned out perfect. The final look of the cake and cupcakes was exactly what we had discussed, and she set them up in a beautiful layout at the venue.
