Not being open during regular business hours, for whatever legitimate reason - which is something a lot of lackluster businesses get away with in the Appalachian mountain area - is getting extremely old. I see it all the time, as someone who lives in the GA Appalachian mountains.

Posting something on social media (which is what is said in the defensive reply below, along with a statement about how popular and awesome they are with so many followers) is not very professional as the only manner of communication to customers, since not everyone has social media.

A note on the door, an alteration on hours to this Google listing, an altered message machine announcement, etc. (in addition to social media) would be more responsible and professional. Not everyone wants to sell their soul to Facebook or Instagram.

If this business wants private messages from customers, the owner should enable it from this Google page directly.

Still, often the only things that actually create consistent changes in deficient business behaviors are harsh truthful reviews. So: Be more thorough and professional! I am a traveler in these parts and I uselessly drove all the way over to this business and...

The staff is always sooo friendly and welcoming. Oat milk doesn’t cost extra, which is just amazing, and I love that decision. Flavors are free too. They know how to steam alternative milks without burning them, and the espresso shot is perfect. The espresso flavor is rich and comes through clearly in any drink, even in a large latte. The pastries are diverse and look very fresh and the menu is huge too. My family loves the food. I would love to see a vegan option as a pastry or menu item in the future so I can try their food because it all looks...

We loved our experience at Hippie Bean :) the coffee was delicious and you can tell they care about the flavor of it — on top of that if you are more of a frappe/syrups type of person they have endless options (more than I’ve ever seen!!)

I had an iced latte with oat milk and lavender vanilla syrup. It was delicious! I’m so happy to see alternative milks offered in a small town.

The staff is also kind and could answer any questions about the menu which is always awesome!
