A wonderful gem for authentic South Indian flavors! I recently had the pleasure of dining at SUMU' Kitchen and was thoroughly impressed. The ambiance is simple but charming, with traditional Dhaba style look from outside that adds to the authentic dining experience. The Masala Dosa was a masterpiece—perfectly golden and crisp on the outside, yet soft and fluffy on the inside. The potato filling was seasoned beautifully, with a perfect balance of spices. It was served with two different chutneys and a delicious sambar that was rich and tangy. Each chutney had its own distinct flavor, and the tomato chutney was my favorite. My husband ordered the veg Uttapam, and it was equally fantastic. Mango lassi was super yummy and onion pakoda was delicious. The service was quick and friendly. The owner supervises everything personally to make your experience unforgettable. While talking to him, we came to know it's his passion, and his wife prepares fresh sambhar every morning, sometimes twice a day. The food arrived quickly. The prices are very reasonable for the quality and portion sizes. We left feeling completely satisfied and happy with our meal. I can't wait to go back and try more...

The fluffy rice paired perfectly with the creamy potato curry and subtly ridge gourd curry, while the tangy tomato dal added a bright counterpoint. The sambar was rich and hearty, and the rasam was delightful. Crispy bitter gourd fry added a welcome crunch and gentle bitterness, and the golden papad rounded out the meal with its satisfying snap. Pure, home‑cooked bliss. If you’re visiting the nearby BAPS Swaminarayan Akshardham temple, make sure to stop by this hotel afterward; you don’t want to miss its authentic,...
Read moreBy chance driving by on RTE130 in Robbinsville we came upon this restaurant. Stepped in to check their menu and stayed for awhile. The Dosas were excellent, great variety, crispy, fresh and inexpensive. Their idly combo was very fresh and filling, not to mention their curry. Their South Indian coffee was excellent. This little restaurant is usually packed Weekends as I understand from other diners here. This will be our regular stopover when we pass here from now on. This restaurant deserves the highest rating for a small authentic, pure vegetarian restaurant. Good luck...
