So it seems like alot of good reviews of local restaurants get posted here. Here's one that's different then most. We recently had some friends staying with us while they purchased a home here. Looking for a good meal we did Cafe de Olla. We had eaten there on a number of occasions and were impressed with the food and the service. Not so this time! We ordered from the car 3 Italian meals and a plain hamburger and fries. Arriving for pickup approx 30 minutes later our order was not ready. In fact it took another 20 minutes. Our food was brought out to our car, credit card was taken and we then waited at least another 5 before our card was returned. When arriving home the hamburger was not as ordered AND there were NO FRIES! A call was made to the restaurant and staff was informed and told to apply a credit for the hamburger portion of the order. NO credit was ever applied. I made another call to the restaurant a few days later this time explaining the problem to another employee who informed me that only the manager can issue credits. Of course the manager was unavailable to speak with me. I left my phone number and was assured that the manager would be in touch. 4 days and NO manager has contacted me. All that I expected was an apology for the error on the order and a credit for that portion. In such a small community word of mouth is extremely important for the success or failure of a business. Too bad that the management of Cafe de Olla is...

I have ate here several times and the last 2 times have not been good service or food. Went tonight with my family from out of town, order an appetizer, salads and meals. Our waitress was new but was not trained properly by the owner Juan. We received our drinks then a while later received our appetizer. Waited forever had to flag another waitress down to ask could we get our salads. 10 minutes later our meals come out and our salads. All dinners were cold couldn’t even eat the pasta on 2 of the meals. Ask to speak to the manager Juan and he had the waitress tell us he didn’t have time and for her to handle it. That was very unprofessional, she said she talked to him and he would give a discount for the trouble. Received bill for $99.00 and he took off $10, seriously, so I asked to speak with Juan again and he said he didn’t have time but took a little more off the bill. Which still came to $80. I did tip the waitress 20% because she deserved it she was trying. As for the owner Juan you need to figure out if you want to be a manager or a dishwasher!!!!! As for your staff training them properly would be the right thing to do. I will never eat...

If you don’t know what you’re in the mood to eat, just go to Cafe De Olla. They offer American, Italian and/or Mexican dishes. There has to be something on the menu that will catch your eye as they offer options.

The best Mexican food. I have tried burritos, fajitas, taco salads, quesadillas, chimichangas, and everything is absolutely delicious! You know how some places, all the dishes tastes the same just different names? Well, not this place. Everything is exquisite and the huge perk is, all dishes are seasoned differently.

As far as the Italian dishes, I love the eggplant parmigiana, Alfredo, salads, spaghetti and meatballs and pizza.

The staff is terrific and they work so hard in ensuring great customer service.

Plenty of parking. Kid friendly. Wheelchair accessible. They also offer a carport for bikers.

Very clean restaurant and one other thing, 2-3 people can split one lunch if wanted to as the portions are more...

My experience at this restaurant was overall very neutral. The bread wasn't too great, and the food was okay. I had a calzone, and it was pretty average. The staff however was pretty decent, and multiple people asked us how we were after we were served. The overall vibes were pretty average. Not the most memorable place, but it was pretty good for the price. If you're in the area and want to eat some decent Italian food, you should totally give this place a visit.

Don't let the Italian name fool you. They also have an awesome Mexican menu. Huge portions, fast service, obviously a popular place, and rightly so. We wound up with a shrimp Fahita and the Matador. The calzones that went by the table looked like huge round loaves of bread, and one would have been my second choice. Popular with families and those staying in Robbinsville who plan on driving the Dragon's Tail road. Highly recommended!

A FABULOUS recommendation by the Quality Inn to come eat here...her words "I would fight anyone in this hotel for their fried ravioli!" And I gotta agree... And add in that their garlic bread and tiramasu was OUT OF THIS WORLD! We ordered the tiramasu to go..and our waitress even saran wrapped it for us since we were on our motorcycles. They were busy but never dropped the ball!
