3/2/23 update: hostess service left a lot to be desired on my take out order last night. No proactive response to a problem they created. Got my classic tenders and what was supposed to be a dinner Caesars salad with grilled chicken. I placed my order at 5:05PM yesterday. For some reason the Caesar salad was entered as a small. I didn't realize this error until I got to my car. A large Caesars salad is 11.49 and a small 8.99. If GSG can review my previous orders through their system it would show I've never ordered a small salad, only large. Their large salads are a fair portion. I brought my order back in to talk about what I believed to be a missing salad and was told that this was the salad I ordered, a small Caesars salad with nothing missing. I was shocked because typically GSG has generous portions but this was tiny, not even worth 8.99 from my perspective. I knew my wife was hungry and after no solutions being offered or even a sorry for the confusion, I brought up can I pay the difference and get the rest of the salad because that's what I ordered. The response was along the lines of ya I can do that and get you another one of those containers. These are the small take out containers with about an inner width of 4.75 in and about height of 3.25 in. This salad wasn't packed in there at all and the dressing container is inside the container with the salad just taking up space. There was about 5 mouthfuls of salad and seemed like a handful of salad placed in the container. During the time of the hostess attempting to calculate the difference and enter this on the computer, I realized that due to absolutely zero empathy and responsibility being shown due to the error, I would be better off leaving and going to the super market to compete the meal, which is exactly what I did. Hostess defended this 8.99 handful serving of salad the whole time and saw nothing wrong with it or the fact that I ordered a dinner salad with grilled chicken at 5:05PM and got a lunch salad with grilled chicken. -3 stars for kitchen serving me this with a side of cold service. Previous review: God I love this place. Great portions and great food. Some of the best chicken tenders I've had. HUGE portion. Good service and good food!

Service is really great and the staff are super friendly and check up on you a lot, which is fantastic. I can't say as much about the food, unfortunately, but I've been spoiled, probably. I ordered the Delmonico, which at the time, was about $30. Side of sweet potato fries and French onion soup. Kids ordered the teriyaki steaks and one ordered a burger. The French onion soup was good, but a bit on the sweeter side and not as savory. I don't have much complaint there, but just note that if you are looking for a more savory soup. (Plenty of cheese though!) The Delmonico... was MUCH more fatty than I expected. And it's kind of my fault that I got this, because apparently a Delmonico at one place is not the same as another, because it's such a contested definition to this piece of meat. A Delmonico is supposed to be nicely marbled... not exactly a Waygu, but not exactly with large pockets of fat, either. (Or maybe I'm just spoiled because I'm used to tenderloin and filet mignon cuts.) It was also very, very underseasoned or not at all... it was very, very plain. Only the parts that were decent were of actual meat. There was a decent char that added to it, though... they got that right. (I had mine medium-rare, and it was cooked correctly: pink with a red inside.) The sweet potato fries were crispy and decent though! I tried some of the kids' teriyaki steak (medium)... sweeter sauce, and the meat itself was good. Better than the Delmonico, really, and that's saying something. If I end up here again, I'll probably try the porterhouse and see if that's better-seasoned... but I'm also a bit reserved. We'll see.

I went here with my whole family, we had a reservation. I ordered filet medium rare. They ended up remaking it, twice. Everyone got their food before me and when I got mine, the steak was well done. I didn’t want to make a big deal of it because the social situation was already enough for me, but they took it back. (i ordered French onion soup in the mean time) My very kind server insisted on getting the manager and they brought me a new filet while everyone was finishing up their meals. When they brought me the new steak, someone bussed my soup I had only a few bites of. Upon cutting into the filet it was completely rare. I was honestly dumbfounded. I was embarrassed and uncomfortable. Staff acted so casual about how it came out the second time and tried to retrieve it from me before i could take a photo. I’ve given this restaurant a try several times, and it’s honestly not that great. I told them i did not want a third and didn’t want my family to pay for it considering everyone had already finished eating their meals. I felt like I wasn’t taken seriously. They tried to bring me a third and at that point I needed to not be in the restaurant anymore. The whole situation was extremely unfortunate. On the upside, my server was incredibly nice, comped my drink, and then made me another. That’s about all I can say about that. It was pretty disappointing and definitely in my top worst restaurant experiences.

My Fiance and I went on a romantic dinner and I was told this place was a nice place to take her, we arrived, I was walking to the front door, one of the cooks was outside smoking near a dumpster, He was covered head to toe, in filth, I was almost discussed enough not to eat there, but I was on a date, we were there and I didnt wanna start of bad. So we went in. We sat at the host station for what seemed a half hour, when your waiting on someone to come sit you, it seems forever, which was really about 5 minutes. They were not busy either. about 7 cars out front. So we finally get our seats at the table, The place is pretty empty. The sit us next to a family of 5 husband wife and 3 kids all under 5. About 30 seconds later, The kids are screaming so loud we have to speak louder just to talk to each other. Why not put us in another section? We are 2 adults, we left our children at home so we would not have to deal with kids. So we continue, our waitress finally arrives, we have been sitting about 10 minutes and listening to screaming kids, we give our drink orders, my girl gets a soda, so do I. Drinks are brought to us and instead of asking if we are ready to order, waitress leaves, does not even say a word, and walks away so fast, We cant tell her she didnt bring us straws!!!! So we start drinking our drinks without straws, Im trying so hard not to sound negative as we are on our night out. kids still acting a fool at the table next to us, I get up to go to the bathroom, even though I really didnt have too, I go to another waitress and ask for straws, and play it off to my girl so she doesnt know what i really did. Waitress finally returns, we are now in the resturant 30 minutes when we finally order, I get Steak, cooked medium, she gets Steak, cooked well. Finally family with kids are done eating and leave, we are now able to speak without yelling at each other. oh no, here comes another family, they are sat directly behind us, I have finished my drink now almost 10 minutes go by, (this time im actually watching my watch) the waitress returns and looks at my table, does not ask if we need anything or anything, I hope she sees and is like ok, and brings back refills, Nope, another 10 minutes, she walks by again, I ask her, and ask this time for a straw too! My girl snickers under hear breath, She tried so hard not to laugh at the girl, On return of bringing the drink back, she informs us that she has forgotten to place our orders in the kitchen, I turn red, but catch myself, Everyone messes up right, She says they are going to put our order on rush, I say thank you and we wait another 20 minutes and our food is brought out, The food is not impressive, small size, and very very poor quality, I couldnt not check my steak, it is so tuff cause it is 3 x passes well done, burnt! Same with my Girls, We ate maybe 3 bites and were like done, Now My girl never complains, I have never seen her once complain to me or a employee of a place. we get the bill and its 50 dollars, I pull out 60 and get ready to leave, she looks at me and says what are you doing, I said paying and leaving a tip, she says no your not, she made me pay the bill and for the tip we left a penny. We had to go to the store on our way home and my girl made me a great steak. I would never return here ever again. I would never send anyone I know here. I just took the time to put up this review so you wont go there either. we spent almost a hour and a half there, and the only good thing to come out of it, was my girl cooking me...

I have recently moved to the area and had friends drop by unexpectedly to see my new home. It was getting late and I was unprepared to serve anything so suggested we get take - out from the Granite Steak and Grill . I placed the order over the phone and the young man seemed unfamiliar with the Menu and items. We ordered two Senior meals which come with a beverage and dessert and a regular Seafood Platter; at the end the young man said that will be $80, I started to ask why and he hung up. So I left to pick up the food intending to look at the receipt when I got there. When I picked up my order they handed me a receipt for $80 with no detail. I explained to the young lady that I thought there was a mistake and I needed to see a real receipt. She said she would have to get a manager. During my 20 min wait I was told 4 times it would only be a few mins. but I also heard her tell someone she had called all the managers and no one had called her back. Finally someone appeared from downstairs and couldn't produce a receipt; she said she would have to go to the office. At this point I was getting concerned for my food and tried unsuccessfully twice to leave my name and number but the desk people turned away or got on the phone. When a receipt finally did appear the woman waved it at me and said "It's RIGHT" and asked if I had any questions, snatched the receipt I had out of my hand, bunched it up , threw it in the trash and marched off. Well when I got in the car they had charged for a salad which was a side for one of the senior meals and 2 desserts which go with the senior meal for a $1.00 upcharge in the restaurant. When I got home the food was ruined, we got no bread, no butter and no beverages. The hot food was barely warm , the salads were warm and the desserts were melted. I sent an email and got no response. My friend didn't want to eat at this restaurant in the first place but her husband and I talked her into it. I've brought friends there to eat in and it was really good and I've gotten take out for myself with no issues. I'm pretty sure the management received my email because they have now added that the dessert of the day is $2.99 with senior meals on their menus. VERY disappointing experience ! Also disappointing that no one cared that day the whole time I was waiting and they couldn't be bothered to respond to my email. In this day of half capacity and lower revenue you think owners would have more regard for customers and customer...
