3/2/23 update: hostess service left a lot to be desired on my take out order last night. No proactive response to a problem they created. Got my classic tenders and what was supposed to be a dinner Caesars salad with grilled chicken. I placed my order at 5:05PM yesterday. For some reason the Caesar salad was entered as a small. I didn't realize this error until I got to my car. A large Caesars salad is 11.49 and a small 8.99. If GSG can review my previous orders through their system it would show I've never ordered a small salad, only large. Their large salads are a fair portion. I brought my order back in to talk about what I believed to be a missing salad and was told that this was the salad I ordered, a small Caesars salad with nothing missing. I was shocked because typically GSG has generous portions but this was tiny, not even worth 8.99 from my perspective. I knew my wife was hungry and after no solutions being offered or even a sorry for the confusion, I brought up can I pay the difference and get the rest of the salad because that's what I ordered. The response was along the lines of ya I can do that and get you another one of those containers. These are the small take out containers with about an inner width of 4.75 in and about height of 3.25 in. This salad wasn't packed in there at all and the dressing container is inside the container with the salad just taking up space. There was about 5 mouthfuls of salad and seemed like a handful of salad placed in the container. During the time of the hostess attempting to calculate the difference and enter this on the computer, I realized that due to absolutely zero empathy and responsibility being shown due to the error, I would be better off leaving and going to the super market to compete the meal, which is exactly what I did. Hostess defended this 8.99 handful serving of salad the whole time and saw nothing wrong with it or the fact that I ordered a dinner salad with grilled chicken at 5:05PM and got a lunch salad with grilled chicken. -3 stars for kitchen serving me this with a side of cold service. Previous review: God I love this place. Great portions and great food. Some of the best chicken tenders I've had. HUGE portion. Good service and good food!

Service is really great and the staff are super friendly and check up on you a lot, which is fantastic. I can't say as much about the food, unfortunately, but I've been spoiled, probably. I ordered the Delmonico, which at the time, was about $30. Side of sweet potato fries and French onion soup. Kids ordered the teriyaki steaks and one ordered a burger. The French onion soup was good, but a bit on the sweeter side and not as savory. I don't have much complaint there, but just note that if you are looking for a more savory soup. (Plenty of cheese though!) The Delmonico... was MUCH more fatty than I expected. And it's kind of my fault that I got this, because apparently a Delmonico at one place is not the same as another, because it's such a contested definition to this piece of meat. A Delmonico is supposed to be nicely marbled... not exactly a Waygu, but not exactly with large pockets of fat, either. (Or maybe I'm just spoiled because I'm used to tenderloin and filet mignon cuts.) It was also very, very underseasoned or not at all... it was very, very plain. Only the parts that were decent were of actual meat. There was a decent char that added to it, though... they got that right. (I had mine medium-rare, and it was cooked correctly: pink with a red inside.) The sweet potato fries were crispy and decent though! I tried some of the kids' teriyaki steak (medium)... sweeter sauce, and the meat itself was good. Better than the Delmonico, really, and that's saying something. If I end up here again, I'll probably try the porterhouse and see if that's better-seasoned... but I'm also a bit reserved. We'll see.

I went here with my whole family, we had a reservation. I ordered filet medium rare. They ended up remaking it, twice. Everyone got their food before me and when I got mine, the steak was well done. I didn’t want to make a big deal of it because the social situation was already enough for me, but they took it back. (i ordered French onion soup in the mean time) My very kind server insisted on getting the manager and they brought me a new filet while everyone was finishing up their meals. When they brought me the new steak, someone bussed my soup I had only a few bites of. Upon cutting into the filet it was completely rare. I was honestly dumbfounded. I was embarrassed and uncomfortable. Staff acted so casual about how it came out the second time and tried to retrieve it from me before i could take a photo. I’ve given this restaurant a try several times, and it’s honestly not that great. I told them i did not want a third and didn’t want my family to pay for it considering everyone had already finished eating their meals. I felt like I wasn’t taken seriously. They tried to bring me a third and at that point I needed to not be in the restaurant anymore. The whole situation was extremely unfortunate. On the upside, my server was incredibly nice, comped my drink, and then made me another. That’s about all I can say about that. It was pretty disappointing and definitely in my top worst restaurant experiences.
