Cricket Bar — Restaurant in Rock Creek

I really like this bar. The female bartender was very sociable, tacos would have been better deep fried, but worth the money, and the tabs were hot. Only issue is that the ATM cannot be trusted!!! Whomever owns it or ? is using my number for their own food and fun all over New Jersey. Not cool to start off my weekend with the bank canceling my cards due to fraud! Contacted the bar and they seem to be taking it seriously.It was definitelyy a step up from a true dive bar, but I felt comfortable and well taken care of while stopping on my way to the cabin. Nothing exciting, but if you like real people, then you won't be disappointed. I've ordered lots of items off the menu, usually whatever is on special, and never had a complaint. It's not a steakhouse, people, but you'll get your money's worth. You want $10 drinks from a 25 year old and a fully staffed kitchen? Then this is not your place, so move on and enjoy your $75 bill from the bored server on her phone who has run her hands through her hair 10 times before delivering your food without washing them. Money over the safety of the patrons they serve No this is not the place to go if i could I would give no stars I drop in last night with so friends and as i was the dd i asked the bar tender for a coke and pull tabs and was told he had to serve the people that wanted buzz first then he turned around and served some lady her drink then got her some pull tabs i waited 30 mins latter then asked the other bartender for some pull tabs and was told the same thing so I left when my friends realized I was no longer in the bar they went to the car to get me i told them what happened so they went and take to the bartender who say ya that there policy because they make me off the buzz sales so they would rather make money then see there patrons make...

Wow, definitely avoid this joint. Went there over the weekend with friends for some drinks. Place is a dive. Unclean, not enough chairs and tables, standing room only at the bar, and very, very slow service. And the owner stood at the end of the bar drinking, bragging how he didn't have to help out.

Ohhh-- and don't expect food! All they offered was a frozen pizza heated up in a toaster oven. Yuck,...
