I would probably give 3.5 stars overall if I could. The staff is friendly and attentive. We were seated quickly and if you have a seating preference they try to accommodate you. They are also great at keeping your table clear of dirty dishes and keeping our beverages full. We have had mixed experiences with the dinner buffet menu.
Mondays and Wednesdays they have a $ 4.00 discount for Seniors ( age 50 and up) with a (free to obtain) Players Club card. The food choices on the Monday we were there were OK, but pretty basic and somewhat inexpensive: they had a hand-carved beef roast and roast lamb pieces, but the beef was somewhat dry. A lot of the remaining menu was things like fried or roasted chicken, hot wings, meatballs, lasagna, a tilapia in a cream sauce, various potato dishes and pasta salads, and the Asian section was also ok but not a huge selection. Because it includes salad bar, dessert bar with several flavors of gelato ice cream, and your beverage, the meal was ok for the discounted price of $13 or $14, but I would have been disappointed had I paid full price.
Most recently we ate on a Saturday evening, taking advantage of their specially discounted June through August, Friday/Saturday summer buffet ( normally $ 21, but only $11.99 with the Players Club membership). This was a better experience in that the food selection was much larger and in addition to the chicken and tilapia items, it included items like a couple carved meats, grilled steak, crab legs, and fried and boiled shrimp. It was a very good meal at a great price.
The current buffet is only open to those 21 or older because you have to enter through the casino. But that is being changed, and a new "all ages" buffet should be open after...
Read more90 percent of the Food was terrible! Paid $30 a person, they had no shrimp or fish items. The beef and broccoli looked like vomit (pictured), the broccoli was literally mush. Egg rolls burnt, noodles so dry, they broke in half. Mostly everything was cold. The person at meat carving station had the personality of the meat they were carving. Only semi edible items were the fried chicken and the mashed potatoes, both cold. The desserts were just as bad. Very limited selections. Some type of hard layered lemon sponge cake? No label, so not sure.I think the cookies were Chips Ahoy. It just was overall terrible. Rythym City has by far the best casino buffet locally. We stopped going to Jumers several yrs ago because of quality and decided to try again since they reopened. What a mistake. You shouldn't leave a 30 dollar buffet hungry. Jumers, now Ballys, needs to step up...
Read moreBally’s Buffet has an awesome variety of all different kinds of food choices! It depends on the night also, because Thurs it’s Lobster Tails and Friday/Saturday it’s Crab legs. The buffet offers several different ethnic choices of food. It’s delicious! Let’s not forget about desserts which are plentiful and a good variety! Yum! 😋😋 The staff was amazing and friendly. It was packed and they were very busy but attentive to our every need. The food overall was absolutely delicious. If you have a craving for seafood there was several varieties of shrimp or if you desire prime rib, pork, chicken, ect the selection is plentiful and delicious! The price is reasonable when you consider the overall selection and variety of food compared to other restaurants. I definitely keep coming back and have never left...
