We've been here twice. They were out of supplies for 2 different cocktails my husband tried to order so he gave up and ordered a beer. The entrees are delicious, but the molten lava cake was a frozen pound cake served cold with chocolate drizzle. It was so freezer burned that I was grateful I had beverage remaining to wash away the taste and I asked them to remove it from my check and had them take it away. The server who made my martini had never made one and it was half the size of the one I ordered the first time I went. When I told her she thanked me for letting her know and she still charged me full price for half the drink. If I'm only going to order an entree I would come back, but I eat out for the experience. I probably won't be back.
Update A year later I thought I'd give them another try... worst meal plan ever. We ordered 45 minutes ago and they just came out with our soup, our first order of drinks had no alcohol all the way around. My very first experience here was amazing. That seems like a fluke. I've been here 4 times with only 1 good experience. I have no idea how this place is still in business. The wait staff tries very hard, but they are definitely not set up for...
Read moreIf I could leave, Zero stars I would. Iâve lived here for almost 30 years. Lew's was our go to place. I donât know what happened to them worst meal ever. We had a really bad meal a few months ago we decided to try again today. Absolutely terrible. We threw $70 worth of food away rather, than take it back to the restaurant, and make a scene. I had pork foo young the gravy was so runny that by the time we got at home, which is less than a mile from the restaurant, the foo young was soggy. The rice tasted like it been in Floating in water all day. The eggrolls are not what they used to be. They used to be big and tasteful. Theyâre small and overcooked. We also had calamari fries they were so overcooked you couldnât bite into them, no taste very bland. Also had chicken masala that was absolutely horrendous. Very sad. We threw our meals away. We will never go back. I wish I wouldâve...
Read moreWhile traveling we visited Louâs on a Sunday around noon. My husband, having grown up in the area, wanted to stop for nostalgias sake. It was not busy which was nice. The server (only person running front of house) was welcoming and polite. The atmosphere was nice and the dining area clean. The menu had variety and we were looking forward to the Chinese selections. Unfortunately, there was one cook working and he didnât know how to prepare a majority of the Chinese menu items. This was disappointing. We ended up selecting items from the sandwich/burger menu. We liked the hand cut fries. We had an appetizer and 3 entrees and paid around 60 bucks.
If you stop in the future and want to try the Chinese menu - call ahead and make sure they have a cook working who can cook the...
