I recently visited this Pasta House and was very disappointed and embarrassed with the way the manager treated me.
I stopped in and ordered a Philly Cheese steak sandwich. When it came out it looked great. Once I started eating it I noticed there was no peppers and onions on it. I signaled the waitress and informed her of the mishap. She replied that "oh peppers and onions are optional". I explained I didn't ask because the menu clearly states w/ peppers and onions. I asked for a menu and pointed it out.
After that the waitress clearly was not understanding that I would like some peppers and onions for my sandwich so I asked for the manager. When the manager came I told him about the mix-up, expecting him to say " sorry sir let me get you some peppers and onions for your sandwich". Instead the manager said "I don't like the way you are speaking to me and I don't like the way you spoke to my waitress"
At this point I'm very confused because all I have done was point out the fact that my philly cheese steak didn't have peppers and onions. I was not yelling, cursing, or mad. I was only having a conversation. I explained that I was confused by his accusation and I have not been rude at all. He then stated "so you want a free meal or something" which I replied " the sandwich is perfect besides lacking the peppers and onions. I'll gladly pay for it". The manager then tells me that I should leave. I was astonished. I said "wait a minute, you're kicking me out for requesting that my food be prepared according to the menu?" Again the manager stated he didn't like the way I was speaking to him and told me to leave. Well I got up and left.
I am severely hearing impaired and rely on hearing aids. Sometimes it's hard for me to hear, and perhaps I was repeating myself or asking them to repeat them selves. I typically speak a little louder because of my disability, but at no point did I yell or scream or curse or anything. It was very embarrassing to be kicked out of the restaurant for such a silly reason.
This could have gone a lot differently. When I pointed out that my sandwich needed peppers and onions all the waitress had to say was "oh, I'm sorry, let me grab those for you from the kitchen". problem solved, I'm happy I pay for my meal and I continue to visit this restaurant.
Now I will never step foot in there again and I will tell my friends and family about my experience.

Read moreWe have ordered take out b4 and it was decent and I mean decent not spectacular!!! So with all this TIPPING that is out of hand! If I go to a Restaurant and have a server wait on us and do a great job.... they will get a 25% tip! And some even more! But these days if u get a go order on website it automatically puts a freaking 18% tip on ur order!!! So u want to give a 5% tip for putting my freaking order in a BAG! SO MY WIFE had to decline the 18% 3 freaking times! So we are prepaid and go to pickup our order... I walk in and tell them my order.. and three little teenager girls give me a dirty look and toss my order in the counter and all 3 turn there back on me and walk AWAY!! WE get home and I ordered Shrimp Fettuccine with extra sauce.... it was noodles in a white water sauce! The extra sauce was pure milk water! My family is in Customer service! The meal was not even edible! I called the restaurant and one of the most sarcastic entitled teenage girls Anwser the phone!! I said I need to talk to a manger... she said what DO U WANT!! I repeated my statement!! She didn't say anything and put me on hold!!! 3 minutes and then the Manager Michelle gets on the phone and was absolutely one of the most professional and sweet respectful person I've came across in long TIME! She did send us a coupon for the price of the Fettuccine... but I will throw it in the trash! Thank you so much Michelle for your kindness and understanding!! Your staff is the most entitled RUDE employees I've ever come across!! And I know it was because we didn't give a 18% tip!...
Read moreUsually our experience is dynamite . The chef knows what I want and how I want whenever I walk in. Which speaks volumes to me. Long story short .none of the usual staff was working this night , I took my youngest son to dinner . The waitress just instantly was lil distracted ig. She seemed in hurry every time I tried talking to her she would walk off in the middle of the conversation. Very strange. However she did go as far as calling the usual chef to get instructions on my pasta. Bc adding a spice n cheese seemed waaay confusing for her. But I def appreciated the efforts. By the end of it , I just had to ask her if everything was okay if she was not having a very good night to what she replied and everything was fine her manager was just wanting her to hurry up because they were closing soon.. they were in Abt 20 mins. . but not so sure it was he that wanted us out. Tami I really hope u got those points on my acct too. If not that's going to make 3xs in a row we've missed out a total of $300 then. Js. If u deal with the public , take it easy . Idk Abt u but I came there to relax and wine and dine ! Instead .. yadda yada...
