Oriental Kitchen — Restaurant in Rockdale

Good little Asian restaurant. I got there at 1630 hrs and they opened at 1600 hrs so it was not busy. I think my server was new and she forgot a few things but nothing to be bothered by, all and all she did a good job she was just so nervous. The food was really good, I had the steamed dumplings (she forgot my sauce) but all good I just used soy sauce, the beef and bean sprouts was really good you don't see that combo at some of these small places but again I really enjoyed it. It was a bit too quiet and you could hear the service staff talking from the back but again no big deal. My only complaint would be it was just over two dollars for a glass of water. But I would recommend and go again my whole meal including tip was just over 25.00$. thank you to the cook and staff will return and do recommend at least...

We frequently eat lunch at this restaurant and place takeout orders. Our last takeout order will be the last time we ever eat anything from this place. The quality of the food and their service over the last 3-6 months have decreased significantly. Tried giving them a chance, but it only got worse. Used the restroom while I waited 15 minutes for my takeout order, and it was absolutely disgusting.

This place is for you if enjoy mediocre, thawed-out average American Chinese food (there is nothing original about this place) — including wonton soup made lasagna pasta sheets and Lo Mein dishes made with spaghetti from the pizza buffet next door — and if you don’t mind cold or undercooked food for $15 a person (take-out or dine-in). I must have went on a bad day. Food was not up to my expectation. I ordered the combo lunch special. The flavoring was good and it looks good on the plate but the meat was very old and upon closer inspection, looked and felt hard. It was like eating beef jerky. The waitress was nice enough to offer me another plate which was the mushroom chicken. The mushroom chicken was okay but not the best I've ever had. I put my food in a to-go box paid the Dr Jekyll Mr Hyde waitress who obviously took my complaint about the food personally, and left. I felt the leftovers would be perfect snack for the stray dogs in the neighborhood. This was a huge $15 and some change mistake that I will never intend...
