Rural on Tap — Restaurant in Rockford Township

I’ve been going back and forth about writing a review , because this incident that I witnessed isn’t necessarily a reflection of the bar itself, but it does have a lot to do with who the bar has as its employees that represent Rural on Tap!! We just moved over to this side of town and we discovered Rural on Tap one Sunday evening , and I have to say we truly enjoyed ourselves and the bartender Ashley so much that we go back every Sunday and every so often during the week as well. I didn’t like what I witnessed last Sunday while the young lady was working. There were two girls at the bar laughing at her , making rude comments and even throwing items from the bar at her. Now I wasn’t going to even say anything because how’s the manager suppose to handle a situation that happened a week ago from a customer ? But it turns out it wasn’t just a customer. We decided to stop in this last Friday the 12th because Ashley mentioned that she worked the next coming Friday. And to my surprise the young lady behind the bar was one of the young ladies who was making rude comments and throwing items at the bartender To make it even worse the young lady is absolutely rude, not friendly whatsoever. My husband asked if Ashley worked tonight that we had thought she did, and she rolled her eyes and said “yep she does” it was almost as if she thought how dare us even ask that. Had this place been here when I lived on Regan St., I'd have been in big trouble. The beer list isn't as extensive as it was pre shake up. They dont have enough tables. They have two huge tables that just the two of us had to take up because there was nowhere else to sit and I watched many potential patrons walk in, look around and walk out. I hate the gaming room, taking up a 1/4 of the seating area. However, despite all that, we did have a great time. I love that they allow Primos to the bar and they supply the plates and napkins. The bar tenders doubled as the servers, and even with every stool occupied, they were by frequently and if I did need something, their response was nearly immediate. Rude bartender Kristen… wouldn’t serve me. Ordered a pizza and came in to wait for it and wanted to order drink. Waiting almost 10mins and it was slow… she was so unprofessional and made the experience just terrible!!!!! The reviews seem awesome that’s why I stopped in.
