Homey place, quiet (big plus), air conditioned (excellent), fair tea selection. I had the full afternoon tea with clotted cream (an extra $2.50 for clotted cream???), which was pretty good, pretty tasty. There is nothing I enjoy more than a traditional British tea, and Heath's Tea Room did not disappoint! It is an absolutely charming family-run tea room nestled in a darling seaside city. We called in advance for reservations, and they graciously accommodated our early arrival and made us feel so welcome! Just happened by we were lucky they had an opening as they like to usually require reservations the tea was great the sandwiches were great and we had a nice time speaking to the owner and her daughter.
