My crew of 6 came here for dinner last night. We all agree that this was some of the best seafood we’ve had hands down. We came in from out of town and got stuck at the ferry and scrambled to find a restaurant so late in the day. The staff were really nice and our waitress was AWESOME. They let us in even though we totally were “those people” coming in late. We were especially grateful because it was my birthday weekend too. Now for food: AMAZING, we all ordered a variety of different things and nothing but smiles across the board. ( crawfish, fried shrimp, oysters and Dungeness crab ) I personally recommend getting the creamy dip for your boil! We all also thought pricing was very good. I know I was a bit shocked for my total, we all expected it to be more for quantity and quality. Overall very good food and service with a nice atmosphere! We wish we had one back home :)

I really like this new location better than the one in town. Large, open inside (with big doors they can open), plenty of seating including at the bar, and a nice size patio with a view of the harbor with a big screen on one end and a stage for live entertainment on the other. Great deal on oysters once a week ($1/oyster) and not sure when happy hour is but draft beer was $3 late afternoon. $15 for a dozen oysters and draft is hard to beat. Oysters were fresh and decent size. Service can be hit or miss at times but was spot on and very friendly on this visit. Definitely a place I will return to again soon.

I decided to try SR boil after having an okay experience a few years ago and boy let me tell you this place was amazing. The crawfish and shrimp were amazing! To top it off they gave us two different sauces that were great. Definitely recommend this place. Can't wait to go back. Wait time was good we went early before the crowds really came in..

When I went to the restroom the bathroom door was a jar. There were women washing their hands and I could see them from outside the so I closed the door. Upon using the restroom and coming out of the stall I noticed that staff had reopened the door. The bathroom door was again open to where people passing by or paying could see you. At the front of the building. I did not feel comfortable in the restroom. Staff was standing right at the register and I could hear them talking while I was washing my hands- it was very uncomfortable As we were waiting for 45 minutes for our food. Our blueberry drink was pretty good. However, once we received our $250 worth of food... It was all cold. Completely overcooked. If anyone knows how to cook shellfish or specifically crab, you know that the meat should not be flaky and cooked so long that it is stuck to the shell. It was dry despite being a boil.

My father had the fried shrimp and "all the trimmings". Everything was absolutely soaked in oil. After looking at his food further and investigating, it seems as though they seasoned it in the juices first and then proceeded to fry everything together... In casing oil into his meal. I think my words are only simple guides in finding food might suit you... But I think photos in a video would serve you much better. I will share.

Go to The Boiling Pot in Rockport. Even though their menu is very slim at least they never mess up their food. I have never once had a bad experience at Boiling Pot. Despite our server being a very sweet kind young man, and we tipped him very well... I could not give a five-star for service because what management and the cooks are hindering his efforts. 👎🏼

Do better for your servers and for the people you're serving food. I can honestly say I do...

My husband , son and I went to have lunch today and I ordered a pineapple mimosa. When I had my first sip I noticed it was orange juice instead of pineapple. I let our server know who then told us oh the bartender told me she does that. When someone asks for pineapple she just gives them orange juice. We then ordered our meal and a shrimp ceviche. We never received the shrimp ceviche. I asked about it and was told they didn’t have any. The table next to us was then served ceviche. When our boil plate came out our eggs were cold as well as our crab. I asked for all of the butters and was told they only had the regular butter and the other flavors were being made. It was take 7-10 minutes. I said I would wait that was fine. We never received them. We asked to speak to the manager to let him know. He did get us fresh crab that was hot and hot eggs. We also never received silverware and when I asked for some our server said she would have to go wash some if we needed them. I asked for the check. She came up to me and only gave me an amount. When I asked to see a breakdown of our bill before we paid she showed us. We were charged for all the butters we never received. We were charged for the shrimp ceviche we never received. We were charged for the mimosa we sent back and when I asked her to remove all of the items we never received she told me she couldn’t take off the mimosa because I had a little bit of it. My husband then informed her that we had one sip found out it was made wrong and we sent it back and said we did not want another one. She then said fine she would...

Awful dining experiences. We got there at 5 :00 pm. We went there because we were told they had excellent crawfish. They took groups of four or more before they took parties of two. They lied when confronted. Finally they came clean, only when I showed them their waiting list and how they were taking some people ahead of others. We finally got seated, more than 30 minutes after we were told we were going to be seated. We ordered gumbo and a boiled platter. The waiter tried to explain the hostess situation was not good, that they had young new staff who were not experienced. I told him it was an older woman I spoke with who seemed to be giving orders. He had nothing. When the gumbo arrived, the roux reminded me of something from Campbell's. Fourty-five minutes later, we were told they were out of the crab we ordered was no longer available, and that we would have to settle for the more expensive platter. It is now two hours from the time we arrived, and still no dinner. When the dinner arrived, my potato was not cooked and the corn on the cob was mush. The boiled platter was okay, and we were extremely hungry. The food we got did not live up to what we were expecting. We left two hours and thirty minutes after we arrived...underwhelmed. I didn't expect to be lied to and overlooked. The bad service made no sense and was uncalled for. I will say our waiter realized it was a bad situation but he could not make it better. I would avoid eating there because they lied. They prioritize one group of people over others. No way to...
