Traditions at the little store — Restaurant in Rockwell City

I had an issue here. It was last summer, and they were slightly busy. Kindof. This ex-waiter from Scottsdale really doesn't buy that though, not in the slightest. Service was bad, organization was terrible and the food was Village Inn level. The disconnect was they tried to sell it as fancy, the place looked nice. But fancy isn't um the waitresses are bad (scared?) with customers there is no visible manager righting the ship and the customers are randomly taking tables in God knows who's section. Some person randomly said sit here and find a table when it opens. Thanks honey. We eventually found a table in a forgotten 2nd floor room. A waitress came by and asked us what we were doing, we, a group of 8 said eating. She didn't seem pleased but came back later I guess she was told to deal with us. Sje jad no personality. Whatever I had wasn't memorable, just something frozen and cooked maybe a burger. I heard the owner lives in Des Moines so he is already breaking the first rule by not being involved. I was looking forward to going there as a local. Waitress forgot part of the order, it never came, & part of the food was missing for a plate. We had to flag down another waitress for a food issue. My kids left most of their meal uneaten. We were 5 people & asked to squish together on a table meant for 4 by the manager even though no one was waiting to be seated, no one ever sat at the other table we had to vacate and 3 other tables were available next to us for seating. We have been coming to Twin Lakes & the store for 3-4 generations- we love the new Traditions & we are excited to keep up our family tradition at Traditions- the live music & roll up walls are perfect for a fabulous time & coming next year, an outside dine w/doggy area & then it will be 5 stars for us!- food is awesome & prices are not cheap, but not expensive, just right- the ice cream...
