Chi-Chi's Restaurant — Restaurant in Rogers City

Just left there after an hour and a half .. we sat for about 30 minutes before I asked for our soup first .. there was three of us we ordered two blt’s , a club sandwich and two cups of soup.. it took about 10 more minutes for her to bring out one soup at a time , no crackers with the chili so I asked for them and she rudely set them on the end of the table . We got there at 12:00 , got our food at 12:45 . Two sandwiches came out then it took a few more more minutes for my club . My sister asked for a lemon with her water but never got one , which is no big deal but we had to ask for straws .. never brought silverware or napkins I went up and grabbed some off the counter . There was only about 5 other tables in there besides us .. she moved like a snail . The food was delicious and well prepared. The fries where my favorite!!! But be prepared to wait. There seems to be one cook and one waitress. She was attentive and no problems, but there was a lot of waiting. I think the should serve some popcorn while you wait. I can tell other paterons were very irritated with waiting. Popcorn is cheap and low maintenance and will hold people off for a bit lol. Bit again, the food was great. I got the wings and fries, my grandma ordered the Mexican burrito which was very basic and mostly made of meat(I an used to heavy beans and rice) but it was flavorful. It was completely covered by lettuce and olives which was different, under each the burrito and a ton of cheese. My cousin had the quesdilla and she liked it. I love Chi Chis! Coming from someone who has been to many restaurants and businesses all around the country- this restaurant is superb! Talking about atmosphere: I love the diner feel. Alongside that everything is clean and presentable. Service: Our waiter, Erin, was very kind, full of smiles and just all around pleasant. She consistently offered refills on drinks and tended to our needs and or questions. Speaking about great people- have you met the chef, Jay? Great man who makes even greater food. Transitioning into the food: one word- DELICIOUSSS. I’ve been to this restaurant multiple times and each time I’m there it isn’t very busy and I never understand why when the food is so delicious.
