there is a coffee shack there now, the Slab is gone. I ate there 1 time about a month or so after they opened. 1 person before me it took about 8 minutes to get my burger. they poured the fries into the carry out box before my burger hit the grill. needless to say by the time I got my food the fries were cold. burger was tasty, nothing special though. at 6 bucks a pop with no beverage it wasn't exactly a deal but had that mound of fries been hot I would have gone back again. it was a concessions trailer so they may have just moved to a busier location. UPDATE- I have been told the Slab is now located at McKinley's which is about 3/4 a mile further up Roland road. UPDATE- Yes the Slab is now located at what used to be McKinley's. After calling and complaining, the owner called me. He was immediately defensive.
He told me on the phone that they have never sold brisket. He told me that it was not cooked all the way because he was under the impression that we were eating it Sunday & that we were supposed to “finish it out” on our own.

Read moreThe meat is not cooked and ready to eat. The owner says he explains this but he didn't and there is nothing on the packing saying you need to cook your meat. We order five pds of brisket which they said they only have tri-tip. We order shredded or chopped and received sliced. Each slice was mostly fat.
